Pretty good album. From 1979 to 1983 no one could touch Simple Minds. Japan and Gary Numan were on the same league, but that's about It. Hard to beat this late70s/early 80s triumvirate.

Pretty good album?? New God Dream is one of the bes tnew wave albums ever let alone in 1982. Absolutely blows away depeche mode, u2, new order or anything else u can compare to in 1982.

@@rediscoveryrecords1348 I said no one could touch them back then, didn't I ? Actually I think some of the things they did back then, as well as the work of artists like Japan, Gary Numan among others are still ahead of our time, in the sense that not many artists have use their work as an influence in a way that would apdate and advance It in a convincing manner, simply because they lack the talent to do It. Also, just because something is chronologically new, does't mean necessarily it's more modern or innovative. More often than not, It isn't.
