It was the best way to ensure noone is insured or even killed. Police handled this one very smart. In other states we know would have a couple of ppl wounded and a lot of damaged cars. So the question isn't what has been done wrong in this case but in other cases, that end up in ppl getting shot for fleeing from a crash.

When I lived there they would shut down the whole road with their cruisers if there was a fender bender and there would be a whole bunch of guys just standing around talking and drinking coffee! Where I come from out west, one cop would be directing traffic in that situation instead of standing around gossiping while the road is closed. What a joke and waste of a department!

Why did the sheriff's even bother to follow her with a dozen cars, and then just stop and go home and not see it thru to the arrest. They won't pit the car, so why not just use one or two cop's vs 12. In the end, 2 police officers on foot walk up and arrest her. This sheriff dept is a joke.

Because it changed jurisdictions when she crossed into the city. They're not sheriffs they're county cops so it went from county jurisdiction to city & clearly they have zero communication capability between them to be able to work together. Who cares if she might be armed & dangerous, hey we'll just let her do what she wants 🤦🏻‍♀️. Only state troopers would've been able to continue pursuit across into the city. It's ridiculous

This is ridiculous. A teenager with a BB gun or a baseball bat could have stopped this chase. A quick pass and spike strips across the overpass would have stopped this. There's no sign of danger to prevent a roadblock of some kind. Oh well, the Baltimore police will have to deal with this.

Our crime rate is out of control, I can't disagree. But the police in pursuit did not "give up." The accident / fleeing began in Baltimore Co. so our county force was called to, and began the pursuit. When she approached "Rolling Road", she entered Baltimore City. These are 2 completely separate jurisdictions and can not interfere. They each have their own courts, police, conselman, representatives, etc.

6+ BCPD cars, 25 mph chase, the outer loop closed, nobody could PIT this truck onto the shoulder, Heck, 2 officers could have run along side and stopped it. Excuse was she wasn't wanted for a "major incident" (hit and run and fleeing police isn't major in Balt. County??) and they didn't want to "endanger anyone" by PITing her...She was obviously impaired and could have run over a child after she went into a residential neighborhood??? ...Sad. Good job Sky Team, everybody else gave up and she would have gotten away, but you did the cops job and pointed out where she went. Maybe we SHOULD defund the police and hire more news choppers...

No not these cops ..how many and they don't do a rolling road block? These cops are too afraid that their crusiers getting hit . This is ridiculous. Drive her on to the median Once the truck hits the dirt ,it ain't going anywhere.
