Ah man, this is the best Renoise demonstration / Psy tutorial I have ever watched! Can't wait to see what I come up with. As much as I love Renoise, I've been struggling to get to grips with it, this video helps sooooo much, thanks Dash Glitch!

Renoise is the best

You’re very talented :) I use Renoise for all my music/sfx on both my channels and all animated videos, and all you did can automate in Renoise itself. Just open plugin and you will have all automated motions appearing next to track… :)

Looks similar to Octamed & Protracker back on the old Commodore Amiga, I used to use them way back in the early 90's

When I first started (or gave it a go) about 25 years ago, I used a program called FastTracker. Then a couple of years later switched to Synapse Audio Orion. And a few years later switched to FL Studio and that just put a stop to it for about 15 years until about a month before the covid pandemic lockdown began in 2020. This time I put some actual effort into learning how to us FLS and writing music. But last year on the Black Friday sale I demo'd Studio One for about 6 hours straight and I was sold. S1 is the DAW for me and I can't see myself switching again, but this video is a nice reminder of what a different world it is was creating/programming a song in a tracker back then compared to creating a song in todays DAW's.

3:49:40 In the pattern sequencer try middle-click on a track and you'll mute it, then you can reuse the same patterns and just mute tracks on and off, it's very handy

Awww yeah!!! love trackers. Best way to make Venetian Snares style drill n bass or chip tunes. Things get really interesting when you use very high BPMS!!

Fk it i bought it. I always wanted it. I found out about it from an industrial band called velvet acid christ many years ago.

Those Foley sounds cost a lot of money. I am definitely in the wrong profession.
