@@sophiestellakis thx! Oh those are either different tracks for open and closed ones, or simply different velocity (step volume in the octatrack) on diff hat steps, via octa’s p-locks, which might provide you with the effect you’re observing.

Thx for checking. Have fun withyours! I guess the bassline was the snare channel :) Very interesting machine :) if you turn off noise and turn filter down then snare turns into bass, and you still can use the snare sounds within the same track by turning up the noise

Thx! Not sure I remeber what is the difference in mk4, but what I definitely know now, is that having mine triggered and modulated via cv from the external modules, would be just perfect. Too bad I ignored this solution (Although got octa to sequence the drm.). Anyway this was simply a sudden good deal with the second hand unit so that is why I went for this version.

Greeting, uh, the only thing I remember is I found syncing some external gear with the digitakt and then my friend helped me too, can’t remember anything as I saved a ready project then and was always using it since then. Sorry I could not help but sure you’ll find lots of instructions in the web. The only thing I remember is that you have to search a certain NOTE in each octa’s midi track which will trigger each respective vermona voice.

Hey, thanks for checking. Vermona has main stereo pair + individual out for each track. You can see one of the outs on the vid has a red cable.

@@daguy7575 well it’s definitely a beast but worth mentioning that in this very case it plays a role of a modest sequencer. This can be done by pretty much any external seq I believe. I’d say here octa provides about 5% of what it can do.

Unfortunately had to sell it a few days before the war. Cuz I already knew it would start. Vermona is not quite portable. And I needed portability badly. Hope some day I’ll get one back.
