LONE STAR - Day 3 of 3 (replay of a live Facebook event)
In this series I'm custom quilting a project that began with a vintage lone star (only the star). I appliqued it on a solid background, and now I'm adding the final touch - the quilting!
Day 3 is adding the fill in the solid background areas.

Ive always found you to be a very conscientious quilter who goes way above what is expected to ensure that quilts are done well and that you compliment the quilt top. I enjoy when you say to relax and when you point out your errors as i feel better about my own quilting and my imperfections. I look up to you and aspire to quilt as well as you do so i appreciate knowing that you arent perfect and dont strive to be perfect.

FANTASTIC! Having watched a number of your videos on KZfaq over the last couple of days, I can almost hear your brain ticking of "just one more thing I would like to try" .... you rise to every challenge, and then surpass yourself on accomplishment. If my praise seems excessive, not at all! You have earned every ribbon on display and will continue on. As others have commented, I am learning from you how to do things I could have never imagined on my own, but as I continue observing your working, I can imagine even better designs coming from your fine example. I worked in a clothing factory in Spokane, oh, maybe thirty years ago - - and, I learned a lot about how I learned to do new things. When I would get put on a new operation, I would ask the supervisor to sit down and do five garments with that operation so that I could see her hands move, how she handled the fabric - - just like what you are teaching us. It is very effective, and I am also enjoying learning a lot about the way your mind "works" as you progress along new "trails". Your videos truly are gifts that keep on giving. Thank you again for your generosity, your producer, and your kitty assistant (he is rather well-behaved for his position). LOL

When you mention other longarm quilters would it be possible to add a link to them? I just found your channel 2 days ago and have subscribed. Thank you.
