I love Phoebe so much but I can't get past the fact that she supports TSwift. Like, yeah, she gave Boygenius and MUNA a bigger platform when she made them open on her tour, but she's still very much a bona fide "whatever" capitalist if I've ever seen one. Like girl, we're eating tempeh over here as a way to not overheat the planet, but your "friend" over there is flying to get her mail and she's letting her lawyers sue broke students over facts that are public knowledge. 1:35 Either this dude is trying to gaslight people into thinking Boygenius, Lana Del Rey, Fiona Apple, etc. are rock/alternative artists &/or he's got an issue with using more than 1 brain cell at the same time because WOOOOOOW. There are tons of alternative AND rock artists & no I'm not including the bands that the Grammys seem to think are the only 1s out there like Foo Fighters, Metallica that have been around for 3+ decades! I'll even include some females for sexist Phoebe Bridgers who btw has NO problem attending the Grammys & gladly accepting awards from a company that according to her is partly run by a sexual predator. Which shes claiming like it's fact even tho he hasn't been convicted in a court of law yet he's supposed to have his life destroyed because "women don't lie". These are REAL ROCK/ALT Artists who've made innovative or really good ROCK/ALT music in the last 5 years(yet are being replaced in award shows by indie girls): *Kenny Hoopla *Maggie Lindemann *Spanish Love Songs *Girlfriends *Jaden Hossler *Real Friends *Pierce The Veil *Pretty Reckless *Band Camino *Blink 182 *Neck Deep *All Time Low *Sum 41 *Angels & Airwaves *Band Camino *State Champs *Crosses And the list goes on. There are a few more women too I just can't remember their names rn cuz I'm don't listen to them.

2018 (the year Portnow said that), 2/91 Grammy categories won were women. Alessia Cara- Best New Artist and Shakira- Best Latin Pop Album. The same year Kesha was invited to perform her song “Praying”, which is about the sexual assault she experienced from her producer Dr. Luke. Yet Dr. Luke, that year, was nominated under the pseudonym (Tyson Trax) for Doja Cat’s song “Say So”. Portnow utilized Kesha’s performance to save face by showing he is “supporting women”, yet allows the perpetrator she was literally singing about to be nominated….😒

Okay these guys remind me of those eccentric types like that one with the black and the white hair that for a while only walked backwards into buildings and wouldn't let anybody see her face during an interview, this is sounding like that type of eccentric type of stuff and I just don't like it I'm not comfortable with it try not to be so quote unquote cool... it's annoying. And one Taylor Swift was with them posing for a picture they barely acknowledged her and I thought that was really rude she's one of the nicest nicest people on the planet and just wanted to show her support for them in the way that she knows best is to be close to them and give them hugs. It's a shame that they could not appreciate that Taylor was just trying to be nice and include them
