There is a group of BC logger truck drivers that have built their own off road logging truck hybrid electric truck that you might appreciate looking at. They are called Edison Motors and are on KZfaq. They helped fill the gap while you were gone. They are all about mixing the best of old school with available new technology to build a truck that a truck driver would want to drive till he retires and then hand down to the next generation. One of their projects is to create a off the shelf hybrid RePowerment kit for older trucks. Might be something for Blackie if the government ever says they want it parked.

Glad you're back young man, one of the best pieces of advice I've ever had was "never ask anyone to to anything that you're not prepared to do yourself" I stuck with that my whole life and if it meant learning new things from those around you and asking for your teams input and putting those things in place makes a cohesive unit that is more family than employees.
