00:00 The Live begins With Ursula and volunteer Elizabeth who say hello to everyone. Than Saskia comes on says hello, and talks to us about a special needs piggy that had food stuck in her mouth that she couldn't chew up and she was drooling. Saskia took the piggy to Dr.Nenn who did an x-ray on it. Unfortunately she had to have a piggy put down. There was nothing more they could do for it😢🐹🌈

18:10 Saskia starts health checks with a pig that is fixing to be adopted
26:27 Saskia tells us to ask the vet for a head X-ray if our pig(s) have a chronic upper respiratory infection to check for calcified bulla.
37:40 Saskia talks to a customer who's piggy has bumble foot. She finishes the health check and than goes to talk to the customer and she writes down what she wants them to do to treat their piggys bumblefoot
43:35 Saskia gives an injection to a piggy that has ovarian cyst
1:07:39 Saskia takes a piggy to a customer who's piggy has fungus on it's feet.
1:09:22 Saskia returns after talking to a customer for a few minutes about treating bumblefoot. She than shows us the piggies bumblefoot and she shows the customer and us how to treat it.
1:22:21 Saskia shows us a cyst on a piggy that is not going to get better by itself, but it's not infected. However she tells the customer that if it starts to grow or change in any way, they might want to get it removed.
1:24:23 Avery takes the camera to another tent where the Raffle begins with Alana and Avery❗😊

2:48:24 Saskia takes us to the garage for baby cam so she can take a little break.
3:30:52 Saskia introduces us to Bonnie who is a casting agent and producer who is working on a documentary for HBO called Rescue Babies. Bonnie is looking for kids ages 7 through 14 who adopted a baby animal to star in a new documentary, about their relationship with rescued animals of all kinds. 🐹🐰🐶 Saskia is going to share the casting poster so kids can go and audition to be in this most awesome documentary.
3:32:50 Saskia shows us a guinea pig with chronic upper respiratory pneumonia in a nebulizer . Avery says the pig has been in the nebulizer for a week and is not getting better. They are going to have Dr.Nenn look at it when she is there next weekend. Saskia says the pig has calcified bulla.
3:41:12 Saskia and Avery show us a pig who is really swollen after being neutered at the shelter it was at. It has swollen abscess pretty bad. Avery says he's on pain medication and CBD.
3:48:21 Saskia's husband Gabe makes an appearance and says Hello. Saskia tells us Gabe went to the shelter and picked up a bunch of guinea pigs this morning and says they took video footage of it as well as video footage of how the pigs are all tucked in, but Saskia says she's been very busy, and hasn't put it up yet ,but she is going to do that tomorrow.
3:49:31 Avery asks Saskia to feel under a piggies arms the lymph nodes from one of their surrenders. Saskia feels around the lymph nodes and says she'll have Dr.Nenn look at it to take a look at it.
3:50:31 Saskia takes us to see guinea pig Solvang who is leaving the rescue next weekend as he has been adopted to a forever home, to either Pennsylvania or Massachusetts He's going to be taking a piggy train.🐹🚅 and living with lots of bunnies🐰🐰Saskia says volunteer Brian is going to drive the piggy to long beach in the morning to meet up with them.
3:52:10 Saskia wraps it up and starts saying goodbye to everyone. Thank You to all who participated in todays live. A Big Thank You to all the volunteers, admins, and staff for your hard work in keeping things running smoothly. 💯👍

I think you are the most compaction person I have ever seen I am 73 and dealing with depression I recently got 4 guinea pigs and I adore them. I love to watch you with yours...you are so gentle with them. I just wanted to tell you how sad I was to see all those sweet Peggy's go thru so much abuse.im talking about the ones from the mansion I would hope the thoughtless people that put all that on the innocent sweet baby's should go to jail. When I watched it

Hi Saskia, I was thinking about the taming video you mentioned in the live. Could you ask one of the volunteers to work with a pig? You could do a video with you training the volunteer on how to do the technique, then film some quick follow-up videos to see how the training is going. I just thought it might save you some time if someone else could do the piggy training, and still be able to show the results. Thank you for teaching us how to be better piggy parents. The inner ear you reminded me in the between 1978 and 1982 both of my kids had gotten inner ear infections like a year apart from each other and three times on antibiotics and there Docter said that it’s a inner ear infection and the fluid wasn’t able to drain out because of the swelling , and I remember you saying something about the one having fluid in in the ears, so the doctor said The only way to clear up the ear infection was to put tubes in both ears so that the infected fluid could drain out and put them on a nother dose of antibiotics and i think the doctor wanted to see them in one or two weeks to check the tubes to make sure that they were draining the fluid and the ears were getting better and when they were cleared up the doctor took the tubes out the only thing was that when tubes are in the ears you cannot get any water in there ears because they will drowned

I've certainly had enough nasty ear infections all through out my life. Can't imagine what they go through.

Me too ear infections suck, BTW Pig Nuts is me. It's my other account that I plan to one day make video about something other than guinea pigs. But I'll always upload guinea pig videos to this channel here. I just comment from that channel sometimes so I can give Saskia an extra like on her videos.👍👍

and I still today have to get the water out of my ears everytime I get done swimming and if I can’t get it out by tilting my head and hopping on one foot to get it out then I will fill it all the way up with water or Hydrogen Peroxide tug my ear to make sure that it would all drain out at once because if I left the water in my ear ore both i would get an ear infection every time That I don’t get the water out if I take a shower and stand up with the water running down my head like every one else does the water goes all inside into my ears so that’s why I wash my hair In the sink so nationally I was very careful to not get water near my piggies ears because the cant tell you if you got water in there ear or ears and will turn right in to an infection

Hi Tammy, I also have that problem with water getting stuck in my ears all the time, and ear infections are so painful. For that reason. I am also very careful when washing my guinea pigs not to get water in their ears. 💯🐹🐹

Scott acts like Bob Nelson wearing the long wavy blonde wig when John Keister asks him a question, but Bob just responds with "What"? In the "Faces Places and Beer" video that was posted March 9th 2009 onto George Buford's channel. Scott acts like someone who took one too many reefers. They really do fry your brain!

It could be a cyst or tumor. I was going to tell you that it is best to post any questions like this in her group. The link is in the video description. KZfaq is so extremely censored now that I can't even tell you the name of the group or they wont allow my response to post. But in the video description is a link where Saskia always tells people to post their questions. Saskia is so busy she doesn't always come back here to respond to questions as she is often too busy anymore. It sound like it could either be a cyst or a tumor. she has many videos of that on her channel. Hope this Helps.❗🐹🐹
