I'm humbled to experience these two battle it out. It is the cycling version of Messi vs Ronaldo. We should cherish every moment these two are riding side by side. The rivalry will go over in history as some of the greatest. They have really elevated cycling to something spectacular.

Same here,my case just like vingegaard more, his style and humble origin. But Pogacar made me love Cycling like never before, he is a warrior. His perfomance at 2020 and 2021 tour were amazing. The 2022 tour for me was the most special of all, the battle at stages 11,12,15,16,17 and 18 were lengendary!

Tears in my eyes. Have followed Il Giro since Guiseppe Saronni, Le Tour since Zoetemelk's victory and La Vuelta since Marino Lejaretta's highs. And I remember every stage of every GT editions to my mind. I can clearly state this was the best GT dual battle of centuries. Can't wait 'till this July. Four mastodont's against each other. However, seems Jonas Vingegaard is at least 2 levels above everybody else as soon as they enter the +2000m.a.s. really high mountains, besides best descent since Il Falco maybe apart from Mohoric. And a level up on everybody else for up-and-down hill hairy slopes time trials. On top of that, Joans seems to be this planets most humble man. But oh my, Tadej Pogarcars courage takes me to the bones. The world would be a tad more dull without his aggressive opportunity thinking. And hope Remo Evenepoel and the Roglic will be in their best possible shape in ther life and they can stirr up the batttle.

I love this two (hmmmm, yes, I love more Pogi, but I like a lot Vingo too). I hope to see a 2024 without injuries, with the two riders with a good previous preparation, at 100% of their shape and with a Pogi more mature (sometimes is a little crazy).

I love this rivalry, close in age and in skill, with each having different weaknesses. Personally I’m a Tadej fan, but Jonas is probably the best grand tour rider in the peloton currently. I think the most likely way Tadej can win against Jonas in the tour is to do more tour specific prep. Jonas does a couple races in the early season leading up to the tour, Tadej has a packed schedule all season and doesn’t just race stage races, he’s out there winning monuments. As much as it pains me to say, I think the only way Tadej wins against Jonas is by cutting out some of the races in the early season and peaking for the tour.

I am exited to see if Pog can hold the form from Giro to Tour. Also to see if he can improve on TT. I think he really needs to spend a lot of time on his TT-training if he wants win the tour.

the difference between vingegaard and pogacar is that when pogacar takes time at vingegaard it is only seconds but when vingegaard takes time at pogacar it is minutes.

Isso não significa nada. vingegaard apenas economiza mais energia, enquanto pogacar coloca toda a energia para ficar muito mais à frente (às vezes desnecessariamente). Tanto que Vingegaard é o líder da etapa e venceu nos últimos 2 anos

Pog biggest rival is not Jonas, but his own ambition to try and win every race in the calendar. Meanwhile Jonas main focus is only winning the Tour. But that's exactly why Pog is loved by every cycling fan worldwide.

Let me introduce you to what is called the Alphabet. In it, the letter "J" comes before "T", meaning the correct title is: Jonas Vingegaard vs Tadej Pogacar, anything else is disrespectful. This is why Jonas will continue to dominate TDF and eradicate any competition, until you finally learn to respect him, and put his name first, as it should be, alphabetically.

Which drugs? Vingegaard with the weight of ~59 kg isn't close to the records of the 90s and 00s when +72 kg riders flew up mountains. Despite all the new tech.

@@dinoaustralia7752 No they are full drugged on EPO, but the 90s and 00s guys were just more talented since the 59 kg guys in today's peloton can't climb faster than the 75 kg Armstrong despite the new tech. Tires alone saves you 20 watts compared to that time. And earth is flat.

@@cycleoflife565 despite him winning every time doesn’t mean he and the rest didn’t entertain the world. Watching the tour then and listening to the commentary was so much better than what we have now.
