I just watched English Darts guy do the same game, but he throws ONE dart at each number. He also had to other games-21 darts at 20, and 12 darts at bull with same consequence. Much better games IMO.

Hi I have been playing darts it's so much fun. I lost my way a little I used to play loads in my younger days. We play round the clock. I've been getting loads of D's T's but struggling to get 5 but once I've got it I'm okay so a lot more practicing 😌 thanks for the videos enjoying watching.

some good routines paul its not all about trebles like you say & yes we've all missed a big single lol.i used to set myself some strange little practise targets like having to hit 6 consecutive tons & at least 1 maximum in the same session. had some long nights. must get my board back up & see if I can still play.

Just started practicing using the JDC form, it's definitely a challenge. Can you explain how to use the Winmau Green Zone dartboard, how does the Green Zone come into play? Can't seem to find specific instructions.
@markzambelli
@markzambelli Ай бұрын
I play a practice trebles game that goes like this - three darts at each number's treble in turn, starting with '1', then three darts at '2', etc and finishing on treble '20' (bull is optional)... if you get the treble it's 3 points but if you get a single or a double then it's just 1 point... keep a running tally of each turn's score as you go to give you a total at the end. This is a good way to chart improvement and I'm definitely trying out those games listed here.🎯

Instead of starting with the 1s, I start of with 20 & go backwards, practicing going for the 20 19 & 18s more, as you’ll be aiming for them more in a game. Surely that’s more logical or no?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but I did some quick maths, and for that first singles game, if you have 95% accuracy with hitting singles (which I would say is damn good for a beginner), then you have a roughly 4.6% chance of hitting 60 singles without missing one. At 90% accuracy, you have a roughly 0.1% chance of making it all the way around. Me personally, I actually recently recorded some stats of how long it just took me to go round the clock, and I was at about 65% accuracy. That gives me a 0.000000000595% chance of hitting 60 singles in a row. And, well, that means I would still be attempting it at the heat death of the universe. Now, I can accept that I am impossibly terrible even for a beginner, but man, that seems like a really, really tough 'entry level' practice game.

I'm really really trying to like this sport. I've tried all kinds of stances and nothing feels good, the darts doesn't feel good in my hand, the throw doesn't feel good. I only hit 1s and 18s when aiming at the 20, trying to go out on a double in 501 is a total pain in the ass. Maybe dart isn't for me :D

This isn't total beginner. Total beginner is me. What I choose to do is hit each number in sequence and count the number of darts it takes me to hit all 20 numbers. Single double or treble, it all counts. My first goes I took 130 darts to go all the way round. No bullseye.

Maybe for the first game: Go up from S1, if you miss a single... Go down down from S20, miss... Go up from S10, miss... Go down from S9, miss... Go up from S5, miss... Go down from S4, miss... Go up from S15, miss... Go down from S14, miss... Start over at S1... All attempting “around the world”, example: 4,3,2,1,20,19.... This way you will at least cover more of the board. The other way a beginner will be spending a lot of time shooting for 1,2,3 and ZERO time shooting at anything above 10. Maybe make it easier by only needing 2 out of 3 darts on target to move on?

That ring w the numbers one it means nothing if u miss. I’m literally in a chair, drinking over proof rum, weed and my dartboard w out numbers is on the floor leaning again the wall. Physic makes the board roll and I only care about doubles and triples. Bulls eyes at this point is elementary. And don’t bother showing me 3 darts practice session, we alll have plenty of darts, take 6 sets and shoot six sets of trips, save yourself some time
