EVERY SINGLE day they would sit there and judge EVERYTHING possible. One day I asked them, "When are you opening your own place? I can't wait to see how perfect it is." They quickly stopped there criticism. Keep rocking your own worlds because that's all that matters!!! ✌✌✌

It is abundantly evident to Adam & Elise that to soften KZfaq’s rough edges they must cultivate levity on a weekly basis. So, after watching (laughing mainly) their latest review of comments left by creepy subscribers, I am left with a deep seated & passionate feeling that no amount of odd, strange, ill formed or just plain nutty comment directed at them will ever prevent them from getting on a trail and sharing their adventures with the 99.999% of us viewers who fully enjoy their great adventures.

You two are a great couple. I enjoy watching all your adventures. I was in Mountain Search and Rescue for 12 years in California and we never put our lives at risk for anybody. We actually loved it when we got called out for a Search or Rescue. It's what we volunteered for, a chance to put our skills to work helping fellow mountaineers in need. I never heard my fellow rescuers talk despairingly of someone in trouble. As you said, only someone who is NOT in SAR sits in judgement and talks that way.

We get mean comments sometimes too (more on shorts than our longer videos). Normally we just ignore them, but sometimes it feels good to respond to try to correct the situation. We've had one where the majority of the comments was about me messing up a word on a voice over, because I'm sure none of them have ever messed up anything, lol. Most comments seem good natured overall, but there are always a few haters out there. Keep on Adventuring, You both are Awesome!

One thing I have learned is it is usually not about you guys anyway. Those people are probably just haters and maybe in pain, so please keep up the positive attitude and just try to give them some compassion. You two are awesome and I look up to your abilities.

I just finished the multi-stage Laugavegur backcountry hike in Iceland solo at 59. I get fired up to do these things in no small part because of your enthusiasm for the challenges of the trail and your smart approach to safety and planning. I love you guys! This was so fun and I love how you have the ability to laugh at people’s horrible comments. It takes serious gumption to put yourselves out there and you do it in style! It's fun to laugh at your high energy antics and how you two interact. I've got to see a lot of familiar places I have been, as seen through your eyes, and other places I am now interested in going to after seeing you there. Shasta much? Your music is very decent, but most importantly it is YOUR music, adding a personal touch to the visual presentation that you don't get from canned music. I started composing my own music for my modest channel because I kept getting copyright strikes for using music made with Garageband loops, so I learned how to compose my own tracks and that problem went away. It also helps express what I am experiencing as I hike in these places, more than just the visual elements. Keep on telling your story your way and let the trolls think delusional thoughts that they have any value.

Ageism has never resulted in the mass deaths of a people the way racism, especially anti-Black racism, has - in the country youre from! Came across your channel a month or so ago. Love the content and how energetic you are. I used to be in amazing physical shape and even did the entire PCT. But, gained a lot of life-long injuries from the military and law enforcement. Now a bit overweight and out of shape. Recently moved to the Southwest from the Pacific Northwest and got back into long distance backpacking/thru hiking. It's a challenge, but seeing you two gets me motivated. I think my y 20+ mile days are long behind me, but you are motivating me to get back into shape and back out there. And that age difference thing??? That's insane. If you two are happy together, who cares what age someone is. Tell them to go kick rocks. Most likely just insecure or jealous people. Keep it up! I need the motivation. You two always have a smile and laugh and joke no matter how grueling the hike.

I’ve been watching this channel for a couple years and have certainly appreciated the insights on many of the hikes/climbing adventures as it has saved me a ton of time that I would otherwise had to dedicate to my own research. I think there natural human tendency for many of us to get habituated to something (in this case generally very well meaning, insightful and almost always entertaining adventuring podcasts) and then fixate on how it could be better or different or just otherwise pick apart what you don’t like about music, viewing angles, pop tarts, etc. Certain personalities then take it to the next level by adding personal attacks. I don’t think I could do a podcast like this any better, and in fact would be much, much worse, juvenile and probably dangerous. Please keep up the excellent work 💪
