Klopp, aside from 2019 which was perhaps the worst final I have seen against one of the weakest teams to make it to a final, always bottle Europe. Repeatedly losing to Madrid will be his everlasting European legacy, and against other Spanish teams too, do people just forget the 2016 Europa League Final happened? He only really wins domestic finals against Chelsea too.

I don't think Liverpool have the excuse of burnout. We've heavily heavily rotated. Yes due to injuries. We've not had a consistent cb next to virgil. We have a different midfield each game. Salah has had time out. The only ones that can be accused of burnout are Nunez, Diaz, Macallister, and Virgil.

I don't think it is healthy to have any coach announce they are retiring during a season & then just be left in charge to deliver. Once you decide you are quitting, the fight can drain away, the importance can drain away, you can check out before you physically leave. The intense style of football he plays must take its toll, guaranteed agents straight away would have been in players ears about moves, they might not all like Klopp despite all the hugs. Realistic Liverpool fans know that we have had a decent season compared to last year but the wheels are off and change is coming. That being said we are that schizophrenic as a side, we could either carry on loosing and finish flat as a pancake, or beat an in-form Fulham and go on a mad winning streak
