A look around what remains of Liverpool Exchange Station, a joint Lancashire and Yorkshire, and East Lancashire Railway station which was opened in 1850.
The station was rebuilt in 1888, and would eventually close in 1977. It was replaced by the new Moorfields Station.
The ornate station frontage survives, as do some of the exterior wall and an intriguing entrance to a former subway. The platform area is now under redevelopment and is partly used for car parking.
