Liverpool had played a European Cup semi final on weds in Greece, first get back till Thursday and we still should have won this !

We used to enjoy such interviews in the eighties. There were great players and teams, many of whom were British, with great skills, not as they are today, players in milliards, and they do not reach their level.

How Nicol missed it is another mystery. Thank God he did, cos you're right, that surely would have finished us. Tbh, the fact you avoided defeat in the first game is a sign of a great team: able to create something from nothing.
