Nah all this talk about Konate being a alternative or back-up is rubbish. The whole plan was to have him fill in Jomez's spot until he become fit and the 2 would be rotating with each other depending on the fixture congestion. Ofc Konate has to prove himself but the fact that Klopp invested 40m on him clearly shows that he has plans for him on the pitch and not on the bench.

Two 30 minutes mini kick about games in the park. All 22 players did well. Love the Klopp/Davies moment. Mainz on Friday in a 60 minute match, hopefully we’ll see Rhys, Wilson, Neco, Curtis and Big Nat play. C’mon Reds YNWA

I think Ox is the natural step up into Gini's position. We're already somewhat overloaded at mid and if we don't pick up another CM, we're still in great shape.
