Great series of Oyama Kyokushkin kai techniques. Proof right here folks that staying with the basic karate techniques can either land you flat on your ass with a couple who done it knots on your upper body, middle trunk area of the body, or the lower extremities of your body Heck it can take your light out with a good night experience of a TKO or knock out. Very effective use in the dojo or in the street. 👍 Great job of demonstrating the effectiveness of what Kyokushin kai has to offer to those you are willing to listen and learn. Why walking the path of Budo is never easy ~ it can be done by giving your training that super human effort back up by a never give up effort of the spirit of the bushido warrior.

Great job with the multiple angles on the heavy bag after the breakdown. I always feel like my kick gets jammed on the bag after the liver shot but I see yours is pretty similar, just you’ve got insanely loose hips. Working to get to that level brother solid video 🤙🏼

I love the way you jump into that low kick but somehow hit with your leg horizontal. I need to work on my flexibility!

I did some sparring in Shotokan class today. It felt so damn good finally sparring after so many months of lockdown here in the UK. Glad you’re on the mend, it’s so satisfying doing kumite. The sensei and other senior belt knows I love it.

tell me about it. First sparring session I had after lockdown I was on cloud nine. Got slammed into the matt by a judo black belt and had the wind completely knocked out of me but i didn't even feel it i was so happy haha. Gave him a tasty jodan mawashi in the next round so I got my own back too ;)

@@MartialArtsGamer I have Dan grades in Wado-Ryu based karate (WKF point-kumite rules) and American style kickboxing, but recently started MMA and I think that's my favourite of the 3. There are now also 'Applied Karate' competitions popping up in the UK which blend striking and grappling, so that's something I'd love to get into. And you?

This is a stable combination in my dojo. Lately my Sensei has also been making us to jab, cross, liver punch, jordan mawashi geri fake, then mawashi geri to the liver. Also jab, cross, liver punch, chudan mawashi geri fake, hiza geri and another liver punch.
