It is so exciting we getting a PC client! And of coarse Young Seph! Really excited for the events too. They have been doing a good job keeping us active with all these events. Only have 2 5-Star Materia, but I only got them from upgrades not from crafting right off the bat. Thankfully they both have all % stats on them.

Tripled stamina regen is crazy! Gonna be grinding like no tomorrow. Been playing since day 1 and I haven’t gotten a single 4* or 5* materia 😢

This was best news for me too. My biggest problem with this game has been, that it really doesn't let you play. If I don't use stamina potions I can only play 30 min in the morning and 30 mins before going bed. If I use them, then maybe 1h in the morning. After update we actually get 30 stamina per hour and 600 trough potions per day, so finally you can actually play game more.

with the current event, now is the time more than ever, i managed to get 2 4* materia but i didnt know 5* existed because it wont let me upgrade 4*s...

Congratulations on the invislign two years ago, I have had braces but this is easier. EC was hard for me to get into.

Duuude I have made like 500 Materia since launch and I still haven't made a single thing higher than 3 star! You are super lucky if you have that many 4+ so far!

pc client is good news for the health of the game. I'm also intrigued to hear about the secret spicy stuff coming to the game in the next month.

How do we get 5* materia? I've synthesized so many materia I haven't gotten any 4* or 5* only 3*. I've added extra materials to it everytime and nothing.

It's via luck. But base on my experiment, it's around 10% chance if you use materials to the max potency. I got 1 5* for every 10 maxed synthesis I did. I got four 4* and the rest 3 star. Once you get lucky with a 5 star, regardless if its sub-stat is somewhat meh, it is very useable. Since it has more damage or heal than 3* or 4* materia.

0 5 stars for me in about 300 synths sadly, for grinding levels the characters thankfully get a boost based on the main story content you have already done so thats good. A way to fast level though is to put them on your best EXP chocobo and feed it the speed up items to get a few levels, another way is like you say, to have them get carried in the big EXP dungeon with stamina pot up to 999 energy and then a macro set to run it dry
