Usually the social media theme comes across as cringy but it is done well in this. She is also a proper threat. This show and the Batman one did well with the characters. Looking at these and the latest live action DCEU, one wonders where it all went wrong.

I wish they keep his human hairstyle but with the blue colour if she comes back in a new animated series.

Harley also had the benefit of being paired with arguably THE greatest all time super villain, Joker. Seeing how seamlessly she played off him AND Batman, you could see why she stayed. Livewire does have a solid personality, but she feels like a one-off villain. I'm sure someone could do something really interesting with her one day though.

They need to do more with her. Because Superman didn’t have female villains. Till this show

if the character was in a todays cartoon, i feel like they would defeat her by people calling her out on social media, like she'd go on and on about how it's supes fault but everyone would be like '' bestie that's a you problem '' and then she'd like quit social media, until she get a new plan or something, idk i think id be funny if they did that lol

Comicbook Livewire was a latent metahuman whose powers activated when she was struck by regular lightning. In this one, the lightning passed through Superman before hitting her. By passing through a super-powered Kryptonian, something changed with the lightning and it gave her powers instead of leaving her with electrical burns.

@@Mimix-o Originally nothing now in days... Live wire has always been a toxic representation of feminism. She hates on Superman as she thinks his life is easy cause he is a man and has super powers. Yet the second she gets powers instead of helping people she terrorizes them. From there you do realize that there are two key forms too feminism. The original form is woman that want equal rights (but not equal risk such as being draft or part of the fire brigade) And than there is the matriarchy side which wants only women in power. This is what we have ended up with and where we see the demands that there is sexism in the work place yet that's only for positions of power. You see no one advocating for women to be bricklayers or garbage collectors or insterminators or any of the dirty jobs across the world. Feminism has turned from equal voting into hating men and just demanding that women be put in positions of power.

A lot of super power origins don't make sense but we can just chalk it up to stuff like the Old Gods and shit sprinkling their genetics across humanity. She might have had some Zeus in her ancestry for example.

It’s easy to use your power as a weapon than to learn how to control it to protect and save others effectively with little damage to the area. Villains don’t care and just go full instinct with it so it’s just natural.
