Sitting on dry dock for more than six weeks is like living in a sailboat tree house. After our Atlantic Crossing, we needed to give attention to our battle-worn ship. While here in Cabedelo, Brazil, we took Seefalke out of the water and are currently working on eight major projects, which we describe in this video. Stay tuned for the completion updates and a briefing on our next adventure, which will be a sail along the Amazon Delta.

this was definitely interesting! the dog lift was so cool hahaha love how they look so relaxed. props to you guys though! coz owning a sailboat does look like so much hardwork both when ur at sea and when ur not but you still pull through. can't wait to see your next journey with the Seefalke! c/t

That is too bad that the welds cracked. Hopefully they will be properly re-welded. Dangar Marine on YT has been doing a lot of video's on welding a steel trawler (that was in really bad shape) You might find it interesting. Looking forward to seeing Seefalke all shiny again! The doggie crane is cool but... how about a doggie ZIP line!?

I’ve heard staying “on the hard” is the worst! But you gotta get the repairs done I guess. Looks like so much work! Do you think there’s more maintenance because of the steel hull? Ugh…sorry about the fuel leak…accidents happen, but they can be expensive lessons! Hope things are going well for you guys! 👍

I'm preparing myself in the two years to be fulltime boat life. I have a small Maltese dog that I love and want to take along like you guys do. My question is, how do you deal with their bathroom breaks while at sea? I have seen several videos by dog' owners bringing them to shore to do their business but never at sea. Thanks in advance for your answer. Keep up the good work!
