Yes basically Chinese has a long history and a lot of Korean culture copied Chinese culture.

No Chinese people celebrate it like in Korea, because Chunjie is uniquely Chinese and Seollal is Korean. Vietnamese also celebrates the lunar new year in a different way, and it’s called Tet. I believe that Vietnamese people should specifically say Vietnamese New Year to specify, because it doesn’t look like Chunjie. Koreans shouldn’t say Happy Chinese New Year. That would be weird because Chunjie is uniquely Chinese and Korea don’t celebrate it like China does. All Koreans will tell you that Chunjie is a Chinese holiday. Chinese get offended because Lunar calendar does come from China even the chinese zodiac animal year of Tiger.
