congrats michelle!! this reminds me when I first bought a house with my husband. so thankful we can buy in within the 1st year of our marriage. been very very lovely to live together with him, though it's kind of a pain when we need to clean it ourselves lol we got so used by our mom cleaning the house but hey it is finally our time to live and survive by ourselves right. hoping and wishing your new house can be a lovely home to you and our partner. cannot wait to see more videor where you decorate the house! <3

personally think the interior changes she made were cute and very much her style. I am not sure why people are saying it didn't make sense for her to remove the fireplace when that thing was not that nice to look at (design-wise). Looked a bit corny and outdated. Just like the existing backsplash, and especially the ugly pendants lmaoo. It might make sense if you're into art deco or art nouveau interiors (but that is definitely not mid-century)...part of the reason follow her is because her interior style is more mid-century and actually commits to that rather than just buying trendy pieces. There are very few KZfaqrs in here that actually have nice interior choices and she is one of them (IMO). As an Interior designer, I love that she knows a lot about designer pieces of furniture and mentions where she got them as well. Looking forward to her new era!
