Hello Negeen. I’m a retired educator and my wife of over 40 years passed away over 7 years ago. I use youtube as a platform to find inspirational videos and music to combat my stretches of loneliness. I came across your channel over a year ago and subscribed. I find your enthusiasm, honesty and tenacity very commendable as you always press for a positive approach on the challenges of living alone. As a Senior Citizen ,it really makes my day when some of my former students approach me in public and say ,Mr. E., I just wanted you to know that you are my hero for what you taught me and for all of your encouragement. I guess my whole point of this rambling dialog ,Negeen , is that I also consider you to be a hero for your contribution to “sometimes isolated souls” like me and others who follow your channel for inspiration . One of the best interpretations of a hero that I’ve come across on KZfaq is the song by Paul Overstreet- Heroes . Negeen, as my newest and youngest “hero” ,please check this song out and use it as a mantra of inspiration as you progress in your life. As the great Robert H. Tips I use: Go walking at a park during a busy time like when everyone is going to work or school. No car payment! Grateful that car is serving its purpose. Maintenance one time versus monthly payments. Take a class.(exercise, learn something new) Involve with different interest groups Volunteer it will give a spirit of gratefulness. You got this!😊

Keep going baby girl! I appreciate the authenticity so much! We all have low points in life, I can say that I’m at a low point but I do feel like I’m on a precipice of a breakthrough! Man alive!! Same!! I'm so thankful for you, Negeen!! I found your channel when I embarked on my "living alone" journey three months ago. So far, living alone has been exhilarating, and I anticipated having waves of good and bad days, some lulls here and there, but last night I was balling my eyes out!! I've been overwhelmed with so much change that happened all at once and have had to deal with it alone - it has everything to do with all of the people I was closest to: roommate, boyfriend, friends... so I feel like I have no one left to talk to or cook for. 😫 All of them SUCK by the way, and are no longer in my life. It has been wild and painful but also freeing and eye opening. Tomorrow's another day. Anyway, kisses!! Eeeee!!! (You jipped us of that part lol. My favorite part, btw, coz I like joining in while you say it!) 😄

I see so many creator videos not because of my entertainment thing or just to time pass. I literally make a connection with them like a family, that's how is with you. And what you said about the mental state of the creator but still they post video for their subscribers I know lot of people and I am touch with them in person. So I know loneliness and struggling hit you hard but you still doing a great job and that's what I say to my other KZfaq family that I have made. I am grateful to have a small family that I talk to apart from my parents and friends and It feels me that I am not alone.

I think when people live alone its very important to choose the right kinda apartment to stay, like for me , I also work from home as I m an artist , I spend all my day working on my paintings.... But my living area where I send my whole day have a park facing view, from which I can see people running, laughing, playing all day long..🧘🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🏌🏻‍♀️🤼‍♀️. So even if I live by myself but I never feel like I am alone.... I dnt talk to them but it gives me a feeling of being surrounded with so many people, and of course when I dnt want them , I can pull the curtains...😉😅 May be it’s crazy but I hope u understand what I mean....🤪🥰

It feels like you’re an older sister and I appreciate your vulnerability and authenticity. I am glad to see you keep your apartment nice and tidy. So many people that live alone think its OK to live like a slob, especially us men folk. I make it a point to ensure my house has been cleaned before I go to bed or anytime I go out.

i live alone bc my roommate moved out a month ago and it has been really rough for me so stumbling upon this video made me feel better because a lot of the things you said were very relatable to my current situation. i feel so so stuck and so alone sometimes i almost never leave my apartment especially cuz i hate the area that i live in but your right we just need to choose a direction and just make a change! things will get better :)

FYI, I live with a partner and pets and I STILL feel super lonely at times. Especially if I don't leave the house much. On the why can't you get another car part i relate big time. As someone who's working on living alone again it's so hard with a car payment. As someone who's paying down a car it's basically another rent payment lol. I also feel like I'm on the precipice, I am going to be 30 in like 3 weeks, and I had to restart and am trying to live alone. But also being basically 30 and saying to people you're living at mom's house for a bit isn't exactly appealing and creates a stigma. Keep up the incredible content Negeen. Love what you do! Hi Neegan missed your videos. I live alone too (well with my dog) she's great company and I don't have to work financially blessed. . Anyways I got on a schedule every week I write on a note pad things I want to go do that week.. like maybe Monday go to Barnes and noble "I love to read", then afternoon park. On Tuesday "the zoo" then go visit my mom. Wednesday do my laundry then go wash my car then buy groceries.. Thursday go have lunch with bff then go watch the sunset by the water... schedule times for all that and make sure you go... it makes life fun and living alone great bc everyday you look forward to your schedule and as new things come up you add to schedule the following week... hope this helps... life is fun enjoy every minute. Hi Negeen. I think you should have a kazillion followers and big patrons. Sometimes your videos are the only thing I can find some comfort in and literally laugh between crying. I think I’ve been on the precipice for a long time. I live in a cool building with great neighbors but it still gets lonely. No relationship or pet either because I guess I’m just not ready. And I’m 51! Don’t know how I got here. Alas, here I am.🤷‍♀️ But I do feel like change is around the corner. It always does. Keep being your genuine and charming self and sharing it with the world. I believe you are helping people and that’s what we should all be doing. That’s where true success lies. I believe the money will come when you go about it like this and a little strategy of course. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do. Maybe start a KZfaq channel. Lol Looks like a lot of work but also fun. Much love and success to you.

Not having a job with coworkers, would be such a big challenge for me. Even though your struggling, I have so much respect for how you're dealing with it. Right now I'm still in the process of getting back to my own house in stead of living with my mom. The weekends were particularly difficult for me when I lived there. Also, so I do have coworkers that I speak daily, but most of them have a family at home. So Fridays were so sad, when they were talking about all of their plans with partner, kids, whoever, and I was gonna be alone. It really is a relief to hear that you are struggling with these things too, even though I don't wish them for you of course. Let's struggle together 😆

Im on the other end of life from you since I’m 74. I’m living alone for the first time in my life. My husband died just before the pandemic and we had been together since 1964. I have no family to connect with. I rarely leave my apartment because of the disease, and often weeks go by that I neither see nor talk to a living soul. My hands are arthritic, so I can’t engage in my former hobbies. My eyes are bad, so reading is difficult. People on You Tube are my only connections. Literally, I stay in bed 24/7 and cry.

I'm going through a very unexpected divorce....at 55 years of age. I'm lonely, sad, depressed, and scared financially for my future...as I am the bigger wage earner. And I'm facing living alone once my kids move out...which is happening at the end of this year. So.....yeah. what I do right now when I'm feeling lonely and sad....I just get up and physically do something. I also am going out on my own, dinner, movies, etc. It just is what it is....but I do give thanks for all the blessings I do have....cause it could be a lot worse. Hang in there girl! Do the best you can...and accept that it's ok to feel lonely....nothing bad about that...just force yourself to get up and do something that takes ur mind off of being lonely.

I live in South Africa, and here the South African Guide Dog Association allows you to care for a puppy for 12 - 16 months and pays for all the costs associated with it. Maybe a way to have a dog and outsource major responsibilities?

Negeen I've been watching all your vids and every vid you post. I think it's great content. I appreciate your honesty and throughness. Not many people put that out there on KZfaq which I understand. What I wanted yo say was I noticed that you don't have a pet? Maybe get a dog or a cat? I own a Chihuahua and I can tell you it's good for mental health to maintain and develop a relationship with a pet. Then maybe get a bf? Start a fam? Not sure if you're open to it but I think it would really cut the loneliness down. Having someone to confide in and bounce ideas off of. Yeah you can depend on yourself but like you said it gets lonely. I'm ranting. I'm rooting for you girl I like your personality. I'd say get a pet. Hey Negeen good job making that video! I’m better off working at a new job with a gig economy where I get to be a delivery driver or something! That I can make extra money to save up to buy my own car! So I’ll see how life is going to work out for me! And I would need to create a personal bank account to earn some savings with my direct deposit to buy what I can afford! I hope you had a great day and take care of yourself!
