I find that when we ask for help from the people we already know, they can be held back by familiarity or their own perceptions of you. With strangers, we feel the freedom to speak because they literally don't know anything about us. I'm glad you shared your thoughts in this vlog

I totally relate with relatives ghosting in the beginning of your life but then start appearing once we had our own jobs and life settled. It is hard to know whether if they really are there to be part of your life or after your money. It's tricky but we just gotta be smart and slide their comments and just move on. Also congrats in 100k! You totally deserve it :D

Moving out and living alone without any support is the best thing you must be proud of. Having all the means and being capable to do things alone is a wow, considering your age (i'm sure you're younger than me) makes me more envy in life. Hello, Ate! Congratulations for that 100k milestone, we're so so happy for u! I also wanted to say thank you for reassuring (at least for me) that it's "normal" to not feel at "home" cuz I'm also currently living with my relatives since I was v very young. I sometimes think & felt guilt that I should still be grateful to have a "home" after all what's happening w/ my life. Hoping also that I'll be able to say "that's how my life was" soon, and also live the way I wanted.

You are so relatable! Thank you for sharing a little bit of your story to us even though you're not very comfortable doing it. You really inspire me. I am also living independently right now. (It's been two months now) I just have one job and I'm also planning to look for a part time job or a better paying full time job. There's no feeling better than not being dependent to anyone but yourself. By the way, there's no reason for you to feel embarrassed about your past. It actually made who you are today-strong and independent.

Im in my mid life right now and i like watching your vlogs. I experienced living alone for a while. I think you are very lucky because you are able to rent a great place and becuase of the internet there are many online jobs that are availble for extra income. during my time, i had a very difficult time finding a good place and had very little money for rent.
