I have been romantically/polyamorously dating someone for 8 years and have rarely ever shared about him publicly on social media. Because I just want to keep my romantic life privately to myself. You don't need to post to legitimize the relationship. Cheers for choosing what works best for you.

As a woman with tools, who does DIY and salvage, there is a difference in tools, even a hammer. They are sold by weight (what you are comfortably wielding accurately) and by hardness (how and what metal was tempered). Now I’m talking a standard hammer, not a tack, rubber, sledge, etc. but if your just nailing up pictures it really doesn’t matter. But if you are building something or even more importantly taking something apart to salvage it to make something else it matters. You will find the lighter weight softer hammers will bend at the neck when trying to pry a nail out or two pieces apart.

I moved to university seven months ago, six hours away from my home town ,without knowing anybody in Rome (I'm from the south of Italy). Romanticising my living-alone life is not hard now, but feeling like I'm kinda sharing this experience at the same time as you while you teach me how to live more sustainably really makes it all better. Keep this series up, I love it!❤

Really enjoyed this video Gittemary 😍 Very pleased that you have a budding new relationship and things are going well. Probably wise not to involve the other person in your day job so to speak as it can really screw up relationships. How do you manage to find so many interesting things thrifting? The U.K. thrift shops I’ve been to are mostly fast fashion rubbish and old (not in a good way), overpriced furniture. I enjoy your artistic eye and all the little interesting details in your decor.

I live up in Edinburgh and I think the selection of charity shops here is quite good with Shelter Scotland, Oxfam, Marie Curie Support., British Red Cross, Bethany Stores. There are more like Cancer Research Support or British Heart Foundation, but as far as I know the money spend goes to research that involves animal testing, so I am not supporting those ones.

I repot plants on my kitchen counter all the time. I have a tiny cordless vacuum I use for kitchen counter crumbs (because ADHD and my gas stove is annoying to clean) and I just scoop up as much of the spilled soil as I can and then the last tiny bits come up with the vacuum before I give the counters a good scrub.

It's hard getting asked that during ur healing process as a non youtuber.i just couldn't imagine. Totally understand and I hope ppl don't pressure u about exposing them in the future

I totally agree with the plan of keeping your special person out of KZfaq this time. I've seen quite a few KZfaqrs involving their partners in the channel and then when they split up it feels wrong as suddenly they are out of the channels and we don't know why they split up but we are curious as they were part of it and they were sharing their private life with us, so we feel a certain entailment to know which is again wrong. Much better to leave them out, avoiding followers disappointment and use this as YOUR space ❤

I agree however i follow a youtuber who's partner didn't want to be on youtube which she respected but alot of her subscribers got really mean and told her that it was totally red flags and they want to see the person to make sure he was good enough for her🤦‍♀️ Sorry but thats none of their business. Just because you sub to a channel doesn't mean you can demand content creators to do what you want.

Here in the Southern States of the USA, we all have containers FULL of recycled/reused/preloved fasteners! It's just normal. In my dad and grandfather's shops, as well as most every Southern Grandpa's shop I have ever been in, we sort them into old coffee containers. In my family's shops you will find a Folgers' red can of nails, and a Maxwell House's blue can of screws! A massive old pickle jar typically holds all the washers and nuts, and hooks and wire are stored in old discontinued use tackle boxes. ...it's just a way of life around here! 😅
