You should've tried private lessons to rich families' kids. Istanbul is the right place for it. I'm talking 50 to 100 bucks an hour cash. If you have the right connections it could be tax free as well...Any metropolitan city in the world could be dangerous. I lived in New York For 6 yrs. Thank you for choosing my country to teach.

You can always wear tanktops everywhere in Istanbul, haven't you seen every ( yeah, I'm exaggerating) teenager wearing them there? But for shorts... It depends. Depending on places and in Istanbul as well, again it depends on the area. You can find tampons in every pharmacist. Turkey does not sell things like that in supermarkets as opposed to USA. And just like the rest of the world you cannot find vitamin pills etc in a supermarket. Besides, tampons are very unhealthy because the blood stays in your vagina. Just one of the things we Americans don't know or care. Think of Istanbul like Nycity in terms of cosmopolitanity, stats say it's way safer than NYC or LA. Google it.

@eversut1 4 жыл бұрын
There is no need for nurses in Turkey at all. Government employs nurses with an examination and there are so many local people waiting for that opportunity. Private hospitals do have an abundence of canditates to choose from. Maybe you can work in a rich family to look after an elderly or a seriously ill person. You will get paid less than a local proffessional, like 500-600 dollars a month with accomodation and food, you will have a private room at the house.

Why is friday off in turkey, weird? In muslim countries Friday should be a day off, however is a extreme secular country with no connection to islam.

Worldwide it's less common, right? About 75-80% of the world works Monday-Friday.

Friday is officially a working day in the whole country. There may be such jobs in which you don't work at Fridays, or as long as the schedule permits. Monday to Friday 5 official working days, Saturday and Sunday are official off days, but you may have to work if your job needs you to.

No connection to İslam? It was the place of the last (and InshAllah next) Khalifa. It has more mesjids than any other country in the world. Its current President is Hafiz, and starts every one of his speeches with "AuthubillahiMineshetaniRajeem, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim". And finally every male member of the Turkish military is called a "Mehmetçik" which means "little Muhammad" in respect to the Prophet of Islam (saaws). No other Muslim dominant country can claim these credentials.

@Erik Seymour Well, you know that being "lively, attentive, chatty, eloquent" is not traditional interpretation of beauty, but might make a woman be more attractive than she's beautiful in a traditional way. That was my point. Still, your comment has surprised me, because US women has European ancestry like German, English, Irish, Scottish, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch; all known with beautiful women. Add to that US beauties with Latino, African, Asian, Native American roots. Still, 90% overweight, 10% anorexic, rest fake make-up beauties? For example, where do you put this woman in another Expats Everywhere video in your 90/10/10 scale? Isn't she beautiful and not anywhere in your scale? She's not a model or actress, she's just another woman who had to move to the developing world for a better job, so she must not be an exception as far as looks of US women are concerned. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bpmYhamquNLKlZs.html
