They’ve structured their lives so as to minimize the costs so as to maximize the time spent enjoying life. It’s a sacrifice with a great reward. Wow, just going into a lake in florida in deep water. Shes lucky to be alive. I have seen large alligators in 6 ft radius puddle like one foot deep. They should also have defense weapons available due to the human predators that target women. An unfortunate reality.

A buddy of mine used to live in Irvine, CA. He said how it was so great because in an hour he could be at the beach and in 3 hours he could be in the mountains. I'm in the Atlanta area and I told him that in 90 minutes or so I can be in the mountains and in 4-5 hours I can be at the Atlantic or the Gulf of Mexico, AND I can afford a house! Come to think of it, I really need to keep that a secret!

@Priscilla Williams yes! Very insightful. I’ve noticed a few “alpha female” (kinda catty/ power play comments that come off as innocent but reinforce the hierarchy) remarks toward Isabel. The “shut up” comment about the wrap stuck out to me. Yes, she was joking but it’s a common thing women do to each other to feel subtly superior to each other. Sad to see.

I’m not sure what they use but I swapped to a menstrual cup over 2 years ago (even though I was a bit intimidated!) and it has honestly been life changing!! You can leave it in for up to 12 hours so you just empty and rinse it in the morning and then at night. It’s so much easier. I HATED tampons so I used to use pads but they are so messy and uncomfortable, plus you have to worry about changing it every few hours.
