In this video I'm showing you my palace! Ok, it might be a student dorm and especially a corridor room but it's all about how I see it 🎉 And how life is living in a student dorm as an international student in Sweden.

I wonder, when is the best time to search for accommodations? and when is the best time to move before the new semester starts? as in my case, I will be joining the autumn semester (end of August). I know several places to stay need the personnummer to be able to pay rent etc, while the personnummer can be obtained several weeks after u register urself in Swedish tax agency. It scares me that I wouldn't find housing before the semester starts.

Hey! Are there more affordable apartments like your friend's around Lund University? For instance, a studio apartment that comes with a personal kitchen and bathroom as well. Thank you. 😊

Hej! Unfortunately, I can only answer about Stockholm, since I live here and I am familiar with. But perhaps, you could contact your university for more information, usually universities provide with details about accommodations 🎉/Narmina

Hey, I want to ask how much is the rent for that kind of accommodation and if the bills are included? Where should we search for that kind of dorms,on specific sites or depends on the university.

Depends on the city. Some offer student accommodation, some don't. You should find out soon because the waiting list can be over 1 year for some places

Hej, Liliya! The rent can vary from 3000kr to 4000kr for this type of accommodation, depending on the location of the dorm. Bills within SSSB is included in the rent. The website is www.sssb.se/ You activate your account after becoming a student union member at your university but even before that you can start accumulating credit days. All the best / Narmina

@@StudyinSwedenOfficial Do you think it would be worth looking at alternative housing options other than student subsidised housing? I will have almost a year of credits by the time I need accommodation, but I'm not sure this will be enough, as I've heard it's hard to find housing in Göteborg
