I just took a road trip to a friend and shopped in about 5-6 thrift stores down and back. Fun, fun! 😁. I often ask the Lord to show me what I may need. It is indeed a beautiful thing.

I enjoy making our home homey with thrift finds. You found some great ones. I pick up ice cream makers. I have about 7. We make a lot of ice cream. And I loan them out to friends. That’s why I need more than a couple. 🥰. My favorite finds have been cutco knives/tools. I find them often for just about $1.

A phrase you would only hear by someone who lives in Alaska😅😅😅 I put a bear roast in the crockpot😂. That made me laugh so much and is why I love this channel. The adventures and things I won't be doing in this lifetime, but the adventures of humans in a different wood and climate is so intriguing. Oh my goodness! You make everything ten times better than you bought it! I am an open book so, I will tell you how your word blessed my day☺️maybe even for my week! I have been so busy lately (I always think Jesus is near-by) but after you shared I felt like a sponge that had gone dry, reminding me to be intentional about keeping His Spirit fresh in my daily life. I even cried because I had gotten so deep into my getting stuff done mode that I had forgotten to take time with my best friend and was starving for His presence! When I feel moved by something some one else speaks then it’s as if the Holy Spirit speaks through them directly to my Spirit. You are such a beautiful vessel of His Love. My mother used to make the best refrigerator pickles, that would keep for several months in the frig. Cucumbers, sliced onion celery seed and alum, I believe. That jar you showed us, brought back some precious memories.

After all you both have been through since his accident, you need time to celebrate one another. It does look like a fabulous stay. It would be great to see your recipes and cookbook. My husband passed away!! When my babies was three months two year old six year old seven year old and nine year old anyway they was stear steps. I would ask the holy spirit to stretch my money and to help me find good deals. Yes the holy spirit always helped me. Even down to my parking.
