They work good for me. I stand outside of my vehicle to avoid drippings. Even more so because I add extra water inside my cap. I forgot to bring some on my trip. Darn! Entertaining video,😃.

Yeck Girl! Simplify your life and get a BUZZ cut! It's not nearly as entertaining as this video but so easy and freeing! A quick daily wash with minimal shampoo and water and you are refreshed! A buzz cut would look so edgy and great on you. ❤️

I just love your hair!! I turned 60 in January and my hair is down to my waist. And I ain't cutting it for no one!! I only found out a year ago that my hair is naturally wavy if I don't blow dry it and just scrunch it up and I loveee it! I get compliments on my hair almost every time I go out! so you keep those gorgeous locks of yours! It's you!!! And I love it! I love how real you are!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This is such a great response to my video. I really love when women "get it" - having fun and just going with it. I paid fifty cents for a 7 minute shower today. It took me at least 15 minutes to comb the knots out of my hair before I could start the shower. After I was done, it looked like I had birthed a hamster in my pick! So gross!! I always comb it out before I go see my stylist. I would never do that to her. LOL!!!

Thank you Kym, for keeping it honest and keeping it real. I haven't had access to a shower in 3 years, I use the bathroom sink, a washcloth and soap and I live in a house. The only thing that worries me a little about camping is the potty thing. I keep watching videos to learn about options and since so many women can stomach it, I guess I'd learn to also.

You learn to adjust. I'm a pro at it now. I do have accidents, though. Those can be tricky!!! Most people put up a tent outside their vehicles.

Why not get a planter sprayer, attach a kitchen sprayedr to it, heat your water for it, or place the gallon bottle out in the sun to warm up, and hang a tarp over the back of your van door and take a shower. There are videos on how to do or make one. I love mine and is handy when I want it. Safe travels!!

I am a retired nurse and I can wash my whole body and shampoo my hair in my van using a wash pan. I have bath wipes , shampoo caps and rinse free body wash and shampoo . Just so many options.

I’m a nurse ..when we’re slammed and short staffed we do what’s called ‘pits and peri washes’ for our bed bound patients .. Armpits and perineum area only!

Ok seriously there are lots of places where you can take a shower while on the road. Local YMCA, rec centers, state parks (just pay for a day pass), etc. I would definitely spend some time to find a place! What you’re doing looks like no fun at all. You’re making it harder than it has to be. You crack me up! Don’t make it more difficult than it has to be. Love you girl!

The costs are too high. And I don't mind. I actually LOVE it out here. I like going to campgrounds every 4 days. Then I can shower, do laundry, charge up my electronics, and get wifi. 🙃

❤ I made the mistake of whacking mine off a little bit too much and now when I braid it within a few minutes some of it falls out😮 I'm going to say this like I always do when people post washing options remember that the skin is the largest organ and the most porous organ in the body and you want to be mindful of what chemicals that sponge is absorbing❤

Had to use the “shower cap” method when I was in the hospital 2+ years ago & couldn’t shower. Was surprised how well it worked, as well as the hospital version of the scrubzz sheets. (Truck stop showers can run $18). Also, I look for community pools, or the YMCA usually has a senior day rate of $5-11 (tends to be way cheaper than the chain truck stop).

I have naturally curly hair. I have had short hair and every time I get it cut, I regret it, because the humidity in Florida screws it up. I've tried. I'm seriously thinking about getting it cut next year for my 60th.

Hey Kim, it said you have to rinse it out after the scrubbing part and then dry it. If you don't rinse it out, your hair will still be dirty

Great video! Love how honest and "down to earth" you are. I do have to mention that, for medical reasons, some of those products probably wouldn't be good for me to use. I think I would need to pay for shower facilities. Still cheaper than paying for a holtel! Also, you have gorgeous hair...What I wouldn't give for that hair! 😊

Or from the bucket 🪣 you could stand on grass in park wearing swim suit wash your hair in late spring, summer, early autumn. I have a shower head, hose, & USB rechargeable pump to drop in. Most of us don’t wash our hair everyday, so bird bath the rest of the time.

Seriously get yourself a privacy tent and solar shower, they are very, very cheap, you can buy one for $7 i.e solar showers, and a privacy tent for about $15-30. Rather than every going to camp ground every 4 days to shower, you could shower regularly using the solar shower set up, and use the camp grounds in addition, as well as baby wipes on occasion in a emergency. I personally have to shower everyday when camping or not, or feel extremely grubby and us ladies should know about cleaning our selves properly, we're ladies. Each to their own, but I just couldn't. I used baby wipes a few times for 2 day camp, it wasn’t for me. You could even heat water in a collapsible basin, use a fannel and shower gel in hot or warm water and properly wash everything, you would feel more refreshed. There are so many more hygienic ways to maintain your hygiene. Gym membership works if you can afford it. Stay blessed 🙏🏾 another solo car camper 🇬🇧

I watched your video but I gotta admit I was kind of surprised that you were so concerned about your armpits yet you took five day old shorts that had five days of body fluid, and God only knows how many farts in them and wiped your hair. That made me cringe. You definitely need to join planet fitness and get some good shampoo and conditioner and get that wild hair under control. I’m sure now it stinks after having them nasty shorts on it. Somethings you just can’t unsee. You really need to invest in at least one towel. It seems very odd that you don’t have a towel. Or something clean to wipe your hair with. Personally if I wore shorts for five days I would’ve burned them suckers. You’re always near water why don’t you just take a dip in the water. Fish don’t use soap, so probably you could clean yourself without it. This is solely just my personal opinion. It seems like alot Of people that live in their car, slowly forget their personal hygiene and their appearance that other people are seeing.

The shorts were my boxer shorts that I sleep in, not my daily shorts. I never fart. There are no Planet Fitness in the area we are traveling. We did look for a YMCA, none around. I have a towel, but I was in the backseat and had already started filming. I just couldn't find it. The water is cold here - right now we are in Maine. I have great shampoo and conditioner and I straightened my hair for 50 years. My stylist says my hair is in great condition. After covid, I went back to my natural curls and chose not to fancy it up for other people. Now I'm letting it do what it wants, because I can. I'm having way too much fun attending meetups, and traveling the country with my female friends. I love my life so much right now and oh, this is an entertainment channel. I do hope you watch my other videos so you can see that. Thanks so much for your comments. (I'm at a campground and the showers are awesome!) 💙

I travel with Kym. I can assure you she doesn't stink. When we were kids, we never took baths every night in the winter, always washed off. When my Mom was in a nursing home she hated showers as many elderly do. They used those caps and she got sponge baths. Kym puts herself out there for all to see in every video. She's honest and real and loved by many. ❤ I have found that traveling with these women, there is no judgment exhibited. This life isn't for everyone.
