LOL. I would have never made it 40 miles!!! Even driving 40 miles puts me to sleep. I was told it was a third of a mile up. I swear ... felt like 10 miles!!!

"This mountain keeps going up and up."...Don't you hate it when mountains do that?!!!😂😂😂 I think it is AWESOME that you did that climb and that you are starting to like nature! Good for you!!! No way I could physically do that, but wouldn't do it anyway. Every single tree root that looks like a snake would have me screaming like a crazy woman! Seriously, I would experience such anxiety. It would be horrible. You should be proud of yourself for all that you are doing. You are impressing the heck out of me. 😊

@@OutonaLimbwithKym We started wearing only " barefoot" style shoes. I have hiking, sandals, high tops, and walkers. They feel so good and help prevent bunions.

Beautiful country up there. Be sure to check yourselves for those itty bitty ticks. Florida gas gators. Maine has ticks.❤

I really wanted to jump into one of the creeks knowing that I wouldn't be eaten by an alligator - but it was too cold!!! I didn't have any ticks, but the dogs did!

How nice that you've been able to hike in Maine. All of New England is beautiful. Lots of mountains and trees to explore. I hope the black flies are not bad. They can be worse than mosquitos. 😎😎😎

I was hit by those damn flies on top of Mount Washington. My only time experiencing them. And I'm such a baby when being swarmed on. I hate those things and mosquitoes and spiders. Someone really needs to come up with a plan for people like me. And none of this peppermint crap either. I want complete annihilation!

We had some really hot days, too. Not as hot as the south, but record-breaking temps for the areas we were in. I hate the heat!!!

Are you going to get a chance to see the giant trolls at the Maine botanical gardens? We saw some in Nashville, they were so cool. Hope you get the opportunity to see the ones in Maine.

Darn it! What did I miss? I hate missing stuff. The state is so big and there's so much to do. I don't know why I didn't research before I went. I was following along with others, too.

Hi Kym, It's okay. I know it's hard when you are traveling with others. Thomas Dambo is one of my favorite artists. He creates giant trolls out of recycled materials. His goal is to have at least 1 troll in every state. No worries, enjoy your travels.

I left my poles at home. And I put the medallions on the top of the stick. I need to pry them off. When I go to grab my stick, I cut my hand. Bonehead move!

Oh you’re starting to love nature? As long as bugs and spiders, frogs and snakes aren’t included lol. You’re so dramatic with that labored breathing 😂 looked like a strenuous hike up there. Good for you to get to the top. Do it while you can girl! We had roots like those min our yard … I had Wally remove some of them, always made me jump like it was a snake. Yikes!
