What is new with me and my life here is Costa Rica? Well to start with I am having more problems with my car at the same time dealing with a dental emergency. Take a ride with me over to Perez Zeldon where I am visiting the mechanic and the Dentist all in the same day! I take an uber, yes they do exist in Costa Rica, and we take the bus in the city and from San Isidro to Uvita and meet a new friend on the way. Will I be able to afford all the price of the auto repairs and the dentist visits or will it be the straw that breaks the camels back? Stay tuned to this episode of Costa Rica Story and find out!

Hey Ed, that was a cool one! Such a great mood that was created. Again it showed how life is and can be in Costa Rica. Lovely photos btw, what a beautiful half-grown and baby spiderling of the Psalmopoeus reduncus, the CR Orange Mouth Tarantula...😊👍🙂

That's the main thing I like about living in San Jose is that I rarely have to use my car a 2001 Ford explorer and Fill my gas tank maybe twice a year; But it's much more congested although it's very convenient. Costa Rica is heaven I met my wife of 22 years in Costa Rica took her back to the states until I retired and taught her English and we moved here nine years ago.

Good points and I was thinking the same about living in San Isidro, you would not need a car there either. In my current life I need the car for work and exploring, but that does come with a cost💰💰

I have to credit the Doctor for that, though it was a long and kind of exhausting appointment, he did a great job.

Ahh yes, a day in the life Señor Ed, always an adventure when one travels up that road to San Isidro. It is a beautiful view on that stretch of road if you’re not the driver. I know why you didn’t want to talk about your trip to San Isidro the other day, very painful in different ways. No bueno.

@@CostaRicaStoryYou and I understand completely the need for a proper running vehicle, and good health awareness here in CR. Most of which may make a big dent in one’s budget, but highly necessary.

Have you driven to the end of the coliseum before turning right, drivng straight through, past the hospital and over the much safer, 2 lane bridge? It's easy to get to ruta 2 from there. We avoid the bridge you took, like the plague. And the turn to Alfombra was in this video 😊

Yes, I have gone that way , I think there is a new double lane bridge there now isn’t there? You are probably right , that would be a better way to go. I should take that route. I have to admit I kind of like going over that crazy bridge🤣🤪

so do the BIG trucks just feel / think that they pretty much own the road or something? ( former driving instructor ) maybe I could find work down their and teach them? Lol's

It is not really a matter of attitude, it is just the fact that road is not build for trucks that big. The guys driving it are pretty skillful just to keep it on the road, it makes for an interesting drive. 😅
