Thankyou for these supportive words. I’m a new revert living in an area with no Masjid that offers support for sisters, just brothers. I know bo Muslims in real life so everything I know comes from the internet. I’ve been wearing the hijab for almost 8 weeks now and I have to admit at first I felt like everyone was staring at me, which in truth a lot of people were. I white woman dressing modestly in a hijab in a part of the UK where there are very few people of colour as I live very rurally and I’ve seen no Muslimahs who are covered. I’ve had a few odd looks and had people not want to get in the lift with me- I know, ridiculous- but nevertheless true. At first I felt so self conscious but now I feel proud, happier and safe in my hijab. It’s like a warm embrace from Allah showing he’s proud of you. I realise in some places it wouldn’t be safe to go out alone in hijab but thankfully I’m safe enough to do so. I encourage anyone who can safely do so to give it a try, you’ll soon feel lost without it xXx

My sister has recently started wearing the hijab. She is very anxious, she feels like everybody is looking her judging her. We live in India and with that ''kerela story" going around its a more difficult. She was asking me yesterday if she should take of the hijab and not continue wearing it. We give an example for this ... The more important the thing is.. the more it should be covered ... We just keep our artificial jewelry in front of every one ...but hide our diamonds and gold in a locker ... It took me 3 years of contemplation before finally I'm consistently wearing hijab. Now, I can't go outside without wearing it because without wearing hijab and loose long dress I felt naked.

I stand up in 2014 and without anything and anyone I just feel like this is my day fo wear the hijab and I was just 11 years old and now I am almost 20 and ai never regret my choice no matter who looked at me in a different way or what others told me that I were too young for the hijab. I love this video and this message and i want to say to all of my sisters here that i am so happy and thankful that i am one of you. Lets all stay together and wear our hijab with proud. And sometimes there are times that are hard, when we see other women looking beaitiful because they wear makeup and show their hair and we look in our gallery maybe to old pictures of us looking like this too and feel pain. Lets remember that in fact we are all aging and are going to die and meet our master, all of us. And then for infinity, it is not a question if we were pretty for the wold, but if we were following the path of our rab and preparing for that moment.
