I proposed my girlfriend on the central park. We were dating for the last 7 years. And we used to vibe and blend so much before we got into relationship. And then every day was so loved and not lonely for me. And we used to push ourselves so much for our dreams and goals. So blessed to have veronica❤ in my life and to live in NYC. And we're getting married in two months! Yayy!!

People! Living in NYC is expensive but it doesn't have to be! The hardest part is getting a place to stay after that if you live on a budget that you can afford you will be just fine. No eating out, buy the essentials, and don't give up.

NY being the ultimate office and everything else feeling like vacation is so true. I do feel like everyday in NYC is work or working on something. In the future I would like to live somewhere else and make NYC my vacation spot. Also everywhere else does seem so much more affordable than NYC. It can be tiring to maintain that. Lastly every place else does seem a little more down tempo which is a good and bad thing.

I love the way you show this city! I feel like recently, everyone has been dumping on NYC with all of the increasing crimes and negatives about living here etc. But after visiting this city many times throughout the years and finally living here for almost a full year now, every time I actually get out of the house and explore and do what I came here for, I'm reminded of why this place is so beautiful... even the "Ugly" parts/aspects have a certain beauty to them in a way. This city itself is a Main Character, and when I say city, I mean ALL of the Boroughs.

New York is definitely somewhere I wanna visit, but I'm not sure I could live there. I used to look at New York from New Jersey when I was younger and I've always wanted to visit! Your vids have shown me so many awesome things about this city! Hope I run into you when I finally visit lol

Hi Brett, We are now in NYC but we don’t feel safe here. You don’t mention it in your video. So far we haven’t personally met anyone who would threaten us yet, but there is many people who are on serious drugs or out of reality. You don’t know what to expect from them. But on the other side New York is beautiful, so much historical buildings. Cool places, Central park is unbelievable huge and best park ever. But it’s really expensive on food. We are from Switzerland which is also expensive country(as you well know) but salary is higher than NYC. Almost everyone in subway feels depresed and in a bad mood. But on the other hand you will also meet people here who can compliment your appearance this i haven’t seen in Europe. If you have until Friday time for small talk somewhere in NY. We would be happy to meet you.

I lived in Manhattan (East Village) for two years during the mid 1990s. Rents were exorbitant back then (I know, it's worse now) and decent jobs were highly, highly competitive; scores of great applicants for a single position. It was a fun city, but I'm glad I'm in the Midwest now. I just wasn't smart enough or good enough to make it in Manhattan, I readily admit that. I tried hard though. Acceptance.
