Hello All, Welcome to my channel!
Ohio is one of the most populated states in all of America. They live up to their blue collar, tough reputation, but they also have genuine, kind people here too. If you are considering moving to Ohio, it is probably because you are looking for a lower cost of living, safer state, job opportunities, or maybe you are an aspiring college student.
In this video we are looking at what it is like in Ohio, by examining the economy, crime, climate, politics, diversity, and entertainment here. We'll also examine some of the difference between the different cities and smaller towns here. If you are interested in learning more about Ohio, I hope this video helps.

I moved to Boardman, Ohio, a wonderful, quiet suburb in the Northeast of the state a little over a year ago from Florida. I have never once regretted my decision. The cost of living is significantly lower than in Orlando, which is where I moved here from. I have access to excellent Healthcare being so proximal to Cleveland Clinic-one of the top Medical facilities in the world. As I suffer from a life-long disability, that was imperative. The people here have been SO kind and lovely! I left behind so much toxicity and trauma that I attribute to my dysfunctional relatives. Ohio saved my Spirit and my will to Live in every way. Ohio has healed my Soul, which had been so very tired. I bought my idyllic Home outright, in Cash and I am not ever looking back. 🖤

Pretty good overview, and interesting housing price information. I'd add that for the outdoors, Cleveland and Akron have Cuyahoga Valley National Park nearby, and Columbus is the closest of the big cities to southeast Ohio and the Hocking Hills, often considered the most scenic part of Ohio. Someone driving from Detroit to Cincinnati might conclude Ohio is all farms outside of the big cities, but as you go farther southeast you find more forests.

The crime rate is skewed because of East Cleveland. The metro area of Cleveland has some of the safest and most beautiful communities in the nation. ie Gates Mills, Pepper Pike, Rocky River, Bay Village, Hunting Valley. Cleveland has so much more to offer than Columbus or Cinci. Lake Erie, Metro parks, Cuyahoga National park, World class theater, museums, orchestra, and health care. Lake Erie alone is enough to put it on the top spot to live in Ohio..

Cincinnati is by far your best bet. Columbus is nice, but it's become way overbuilt and way overpriced. I've lived in both cities and I enjoy the amenities and scenery that Cincinnati has to offer. Not only is there plenty to do in that city, but you are also within a 2-hour drive of Indianapolis, both major cities in Kentucky, Dayton, and Columbus. As for Cleveland...... I would seriously look at Youngstown before I ever considered moving there. I like visiting, and the people in Cleveland are really cool. But it's just not for me.

Liked all 3 cities. Lived in Columbus 5 years. Visited Cincinnati abunch a couple years ago and visited Cleveland alot last year and this year. I actually like all 3 cities...But surprisingly Columbus seemed to have the least amount of stuff to do or just less energy than the other 2 cities. I think the biggest difference is Columbus has no pro sports teams outside Hockey and Soccer. Two sports that are probably the least popular of the major pro sports in America. Both Cleveland and Cincinnati have Pro Football, Baseball & Cleveland has Basketball also. I lived in Columbus 5 years and the city is relatively boring compared to the other 2 imo. I think Cincinnati has the highest cost of living of the 3 tho. As far as how much fun I had or how much I enjoyed the cities it is kind of a tie between Cleveland and Cincinnati.

Moved to Columbus last year from DC and love it. I like the middle ground it has between Cleveland and Cincinnati. I live North of the city in Delaware which has great schools. I'm left leaning and Columbus city is as well. There are a lot of IT jobs coming into the state of the Intel plant, and data centers (Microsoft and Meta). It's a lot cheaper than DC. Downside are the property taxes are a bit high.

Born and raised in Cleveland… had no problem with it, except for the snow; of course it depends on which area you live. Moved to Houston, stayed for almost six years, but had enough of the high rent, roaches, and the congestion of people and traffic. Came back to Ohio, but relocated to Columbus. I love the area in which I live (suburb). I can see myself staying here, but the housing prices are getting ridiculous. Everyone keeps touting that Intel is coming here… I believe that is why the housing market is skyrocketing. Not sure where I will ultimately reside, but where it is has to be fairly nice and affordable. I will say, I miss Houston’s weather.
