Alabama has the same probs as other states. Ppl are generally friendly. I hate how much power lawyers have here; exposed to legal corruption earlier in life. But one of the fun things here is my Crimson Tide.

Hello, I don’t have good eyesight. I have a disability basically and when I went to Boise Idaho, what I’ve noticed is that capital cities will treat you like you’re a human being because they’re trying to treat you like that so people actually talk to you and not be afraid of you like you’re an alien, I know women will ask out men and are excepting of them that they would actually treat them like human beings in Salt Lake City and they actually have special gifts invoice they would actually ask you out when they do this in Salt Lake City and except that you’re a human being ❤ 0:50 when they have a disability. Some people with disabilities are prodigies and not recognized for what they have and other things I want to know how they would treatmen in Salt Lake City, as heavenly father has told me to move there as accepting as they were in Boise, Idaho thank you

Columbus has the most impatient drivers. They have been voted third most impatient drivers in America. And an impatient driver is a dangerous driver. “Tail Gate city”. Everywhere you drive you will be tail gated. Get ready to disregard the speed limit or you will be passed in the most dangerous situations. Generally, speed over curtsy. At red light, everyone packs the cars tightly together. When the light turns green, no one gives a two second pause before acceleration and the line of cars stays as close as possible. Everyone is pushing or being pushed. In an accident, you can't tell the Judge - “Everybody else does it.”

I just can’t buy that a place where the cancer rates are so high due to the worse air pollution in the entire country is a smart place to start a family. Anyone thinking about moving here should be aware of the increased risk of cancer and respiratory issues that come with living here. I love the outdoors too much to be trapped indoors by bad air

I live in Portland & visited both Seattle & Denver & I prefer Portland. Seattle has very congested traffic, is very hilly & crowded, which I didn’t like (but that’s my own opinion) . I like how Seattle has many things to do tho. Denver is very spread out, with somewhat crazy drivers lol. But I enjoyed the mountains in the background. ☺️ Ig, I complained less in Denver. Portland for me is very gorgeous (I love the greenery), it’s very laid back & has less traffic than Seattle & the drivers aren’t crazy like in Denver. But I don’t like the weather half the time in Portland, it can get pretty depressing & the city is trashy.

I currently live in a Cleveland, Ohio suburb around 30 minutes towards the southeast. It's a great area if you like suburban lifestyle, bigger houses and bigger patios. Also, not far from the city to hangout. I have visited Columbus and Cincinatti to have a good time as well.

Born and raised 61 years native Denver has always been a red state and now all you liberals are bringing all your screwed up ideals from your screwed up California to Colorado to screw up Colorado into a blue state. Now you left California and your blue states for a reason, I’m telling you if you don’t like being in a Republican state leave don’t want you. We don’t need you. We had a very beautiful and happy red state. All nationalities got along beautifully and tell you people from California came here. Colorado is just as bad as California I’m going to fight for my state my hometown, I’m going to fight for my country and tell you people either straighten up or get out in Texas doesn’t want your blue ideals either

I've lived here all my life, and I love my city! I travel all the time, and it's hard to find a town with tastier food. One of my children lives in Dallas and the other in Fort Myers, and they both miss the food in Columbus. Interestingly, neither has had a good pizza experience in their new cities.

Columbus is diverse, however that doesn't translate economically. When it comes to the economic market, the Caucasians still dominate the market. FBA (Black) people here mainly work in service style jobs. Unless they're educated and work in the Healthcare (i.e. MD, RN, LPN, Mental Health), Business (i.e. Accounting), or Government (i.e. Criminal Justice) industries. Columbus is still miles behind when it comes to diversity economically. But that's all by design. There are definitely a lot of Somalis here. And there's a lot of Germans here. I was disappointed that they never had a professional sports team, unlike Cleveland and Cincinnati. And yes, downtown Columbus doesn't have anything special about it. There's not a "special attraction" that makes it known for anything. There's just a bunch of restaurants, some local businesses, and city commerce. If you want to do anything in this city, you must have your own transportation! There are no major train stations. Which is another thing that was supposed to have been established 10 years ago! But again, its due to the politics of ones who control the economic market here. So, if you wanted to go do anything up here, then you do have to drive far, unfortunately. Chillicothe used to be the capital, which is closer to Cincinnati. And how Columbus was made the capital just never made sense to me. But it's part of that 'Rust Belt' of America. And the smaller/mid-sized cities (i.e. Mansfield, Dayton, Youngstown, Canton, Akron, Toledo, etc.) used to be booming back in the day, circa. 1930 - 1980. Those 50 years were marked by immense migration and a population boom by this place. After the 1980's that's when it really began being closed off from the rest of the world so to speak, when it comes to capital cities growing economically. So that's why it's considered a "cow town" and the cost of living isn't that bad (depending on where you live). In conclusion, I have been here since August 2013, and as of July 2024, I am ready to leave here. It's cool for visiting and doing some business, however I wouldn't recommend it for residing. Unless you're older retired, and ready for something slower.

We have to look at the root of the problem intead of trimming the bush. Political corruption has ruined Miami. Every opportunist, with a briefcase full of cash, is cherished and allowed to do whatever he or she wants: from grotesque annual festivities, to full scale developments only multi millionaires can afford. The average 9 to 5 person has been ignored and pushed aside, so the middle class is disappearing, either you are filthy rich or miserably poor. I have never witnessed so much dirty money flowing rampant around one city before. So obvious it is pathetic. Let me repeat this: Local politicians serving the interest of those who bring them money, and they couldn't care less about those who voted for them. I left Miami a while back never to look back again. North of West Palm Beach you can still breathe some clean air.

Columbus isn't all that impressive. I'd say Cleveland would be the best choice of the 3. They have the rock and roll hall of fame, 3 major sport teams, and the Pro Football hall of fame isn't that far from the city. Cincinnati has king's island and the Cincinnati Zoo along with 2 major sport teams. So Columbus is the obvious one out.

I love it you talk about some areas as violent with lots of crime and break ins. Never mentioning who is committing the majority of that crime. Oh but you bring up racism and ponder if it still lives in AL...why would it not if the people know it's the black population committing the majority of crime, how could they not dislike them? Maybe hold your people accountable it might give you more credibility.

I don’t know where you are from, but if you live almost anywhere outside of the south they paint many who live there as poor, ignorant, and racist. I don’t believe I did that and I did also acknowledge that I am likely to be biased about the state, but wanted to allow people to share their experience too. I didn’t make assumptions that everyone was racist or that everything is magically better. I think that is a responsible way to address the way that Alabama is portrayed if I can’t personally address something. We all know what the history of the area was and how the media still portrays it today. Bringing up the reputation of the state when people are looking at moving somewhere is kind of a big deal. Let’s address a few of your points. Crime is a big deal when someone is looking to move somewhere, so I do have to address crime data. I believe that if you are someone who commits a crime, regardless of your skin color you should be held accountable. If you are black and commit a crime you should be held accountable. I don’t think anything that I said contradicts that. Black on black crime is a huge problem in our country as well and we do need to do better. I NEVER denied that. But, that doesn’t mean that racism just magically disappeared either. So, having questions about that is also fair. Your comment about, “Oh but you bring up racism and ponder if it still lives in AL...why would it not if the people know it's the black population committing the majority of crime, how could they not dislike them?” is frankly short sided. For HUNDREDS of years, black people were kidnapped, sold, and enslaved. Using your logic, when exactly should black people forgive white people for the individual and systemic crimes committed against them? I am not using systemic to describe the modern condition either. So, let me be specific. Slavery being legal is obvious legalized oppression. After slavery was abolished, Mississippi codes, voter intimidation, and Jim Crow rules dominated for decades to eliminate the rights we had. Was that when racism vanished? After the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did it vanish? My own father came across signs that said no coloreds or whites only in the 1970s in Texas on a family road trip. They were denied the same rights. Using your logic, when should we have forgiven white people? I LOVE my country, we are not perfect. We have made amazing progress and that makes me proud! That doesn’t mean it’s perfect. To question something is not to accuse. I hope this comment section is a place where people are respectful and able to share their real experiences. The difference between you and I is simple, I don’t personally hold a white person, for example, accountable for other white people (whether we are talking about historical or current people). If you are a good person, I will respect you and we will get along. You see black people monolithically, while likely asking to be treated on your individual merit. That is hypocrisy. You say holding my people accountable would give me more accountability… I’d be curious to know what things you’d want me to be accountable for and what things you’d expect to be held accountable for by whoever “your people” are. This video is not meant to disparage Alabama. This video was not designed to bring up the past. I said as much in my intro. I would really like to know if you have watched other videos on my channel and tell me if you feel the same way. I have videos on places in the south or places like California. I think you are assuming how I think rather than asking question
