an area without wind will get hotter. the official shadow temp is supposed to be like from the moving air. misters do work if you have cheap water and the airs dry!

My brother's dry eye isn't as serious as yours. But he got rid of his mild dry eye symptoms by eating an egg or two a day, and three cans of Wild Planet sardines in olive oil a week. Hope that helps.

I lived in phoenix when I moved from the UK if I remember right the temperatures got up to 127 around 2001 the news said that it was hotter than death valley at the time America is truly a beautiful place. I hope everyone had a amazing 4th July what use to amaze me is how the ground and the buildings would radiate the days heat I was always told that the temperature got down to freezing at night in the desert not true for Phoenix, it is so hard to explain how truly dangerous the heat is you really need to experience it yourself. I lost all my cd's when they got warped when I left them in our car. Wish everyone wonderful day.

i am the pool boy at home - when I vacuum the pool (manually) I use a very sheer skimmer basket sock - all the soot/sand/debris/bugs etc. get stuck in the basket sock and not returned through the filter to the pool - that is one way - other is to vacuum to waste. If you have a sand filter - note that after a few years the sand breaks down and the fine dust just keeps getting in the pool bottom - this means time to replace your filter sand. I use the Ziobrite sand it last longer and filters better.

it sounds like the plug would need some (better?) covering/blocker on it when it goes in the water so salts and stuff don't mineralize on it. just it being bigger would help a lot. edit: living in inland thailand i can sympathize with the heat.. at least the rainy season started now so that helps.

All the pavement and concrete don't help, also 3 million people running air conditioners that blow hot air up in the air probably doesn't help. I have had a lot of people tell me that back when there was less people and more grass it was a lot cooler with higher humidity. My house has an acre of blacktop around it, surrounded by apartments with blacktop. All that soaks up the heat and radiates it. Areas like the campus, malls, the roads, they do the same.

It's been crazy hot here back east in SC, I went out to the blacktop driveway at work Wednesday, it was 154F at the hottest spot, and humidity has been crazy, as I set the AC at work to 70 - 72F, and it will shoot up to 77F in the afternoons even with 6 big fans running in that building, so glad my AC works better at home, and yep I'm telling all my clients if they even go on their porch to wear good shoes this summer.

“ Four Seasons” completely sucks. We lived in the mid west for 22 years until we left, 3 years ago. Property doesn’t appreciate like it does in the Sun states for good reasons. Nobody wants to live in Cold states because it’s only nice if you are a child and Santa Claus 🎅🏻 visits you. If you are an actual adult you have to put up with snow and winter for more than 1/2 of the year, shoveling snow around damaging your discs In your back like I did. And I’m only in my mid 40’s. Fours seasons for me was 7-8 months of freezing snow. 1 month of rain, 3 months of sunshine. It snowed weeks before Halloween so “Fall” wasn’t really a thing. Four seasons is really Two Seasons. Because that is what you get. 😂

Well on the surface you think that’s a good idea but not really. The return on your investment takes too long to recoup. On a house Bob’s size it would need minimum 25 solar panels. That and 2 Tesla Batteries to store all the suns raise. All that is $60,000 installed. In addition the sun will melt and wear out the panels depending on quality levels of the usual Chinese panels in 3-5 years max. Then you have to replace them all. So you are always playing catch up on paying off solar panel equipment and installation costs over years that you never actually pay off and recover your invests which are tens of thousands of dollars. So it’s not worth it. Just the solar companies are always making money off you with installation and for solar panels in which they mark up also. Just not worth it. That’s if you find a good solar company and most are not. 😂

Because you can wear nice clothes that won’t get destroyed in rain or snow, and drive expensive sports cars all year long that are low to the ground. In snowy cold or rainy places you can’t do that or they will get stuck or rot with the rainy damp conditions and fill with rust. Plus the rich live in hot dry conditions because that’s how they also get to be rich. People want to live in hot places because their homes appreciate much better. In cold places with winter half or more of the year, no one but third world migrants wants to live in cold places. They have no money. 😂
