Hi Dani, having just returned from a seven weeks´ journey through mainly the southern half of Sweden in my RV I immediately want to set out again. Your pictures are so tempting, and exhale the feelings I have whenever I travel over lonesome roads with the occasinal squirrel or deer crossing. You capture the spirit of Sweden so incredibly well! Keep up with your excellent contributions!

I loved the frolicking squirrels. Nature is amazing.

How are you enjoying yourself in Sweden now? You have a lot of squirrels around your house, but then you live as if out in the woods. As I said, I live in Kiruna and in the city, around the rented house where I live, we have many hares, both adults and children. At most it has gathered 11 hares on the patch of grass in front of my kitchen window, sitting and eating. I have noticed that when hares need to rest and fall asleep, they turn their backs towards a tree trunk, house wall, fence. It is soothing to look at these hares. I don't take nature for granted, but I enjoy looking at it and Kiruna is at the foot of the mountain world. So when I come up to town, I can stand and look away towards the mountain tops. Then I feel safe when I see the mountains and their beauty. When the heat comes around September, you look towards the mountains and see if the snow has reached the nearest mountain tops, because then you know that it is not so far until the snow reaches the city. A little higher up in the Kiruna mountains, the snow can come as early as August and that is not unusual. As I may have said up here in Lapland, we have 8 seasons and right now we are in the autumn-summer season, that's when it gets colder outside and a few days we can get a little warmer around 18-20 but no more.

No need to feel melancholic. You'll get amazing landscape images with those night skies!

Well , we are lucky to be sharing the world with these little creatures roaming the planet. I am a die heart wildlife and astrophotographer myself , and I have loved squirrels they are so versatile and varied in their actions and expressions to photograph. I have a 7 to 8 photos i clicked in a single press of the button , and idk what they doin' but you can clearly understand from the photos when you see them 1 by one , that maybethe the male friend was trying to be "naughty" and the female attacked him back and shoo him away , thats so funny when you look at them one by one in a series😂😂🥰🥰

It's the first time I've seen red squirrels filmed with such grace. The use of slow motion is relevant. The red squirrel is difficult to approach, you have to have seen them up close to admire their beauty. In your video, the environment of a meadow where daisies grow adds an aesthetic quality to your film. These jumps and flights between squirrels are surprising, these animals are so lively and seem so light, their tails are real plumes and the bristly hairs on their ears give them a little air of knight of the woods. Well done for being able to show us this. Your outlook on nature is very sensitive. (As a child, I surprised a red squirrel with a black coat in the woods. Magnificent.) 🐿️ 🦋
