Greetings 👋 I visit Sao Roque several times ..at least I found your former monastery there as a youth hostel now ..it's indeed a place of power ! Due to the pandemic restrictions I can't flight back in 2020 ..I try it in May/2021 again for settle there ..maybe we meet us ! For now be well 👋

great photography - not afraid to shoot into the sun, seeing glimpses of turquoise in the waves amongst a foreground of dark rock and a background of grey skies, the strength of stormy seas and the gentility of nature inland... these and more scenes combined with stirring music make for a dramatic production. Spent my early school years in Lajes Terceira. We lived in a beautiful villa outside of Angra. Your video brought it all back. The earthquake in 1980 changed a lot. Thank you!

This vid is one of my favorites of Pico Island my birth place, brings back so many wonderful memories from my child hood and times i visited , it shows a little bit of everything that makes this place and all of Azores special & unique , what an awesome place for me to have been born , if i had to be born again and this time i could choose the place my choice would be Pico Azores once again but i know we can not do it again so i must treasure this place for as long as i can and share it with others who weren't so lucky as me ... We were from California and have moved to Sao Miguel, Thank you for sharing your island just beautiful! We were hoping to visit Pico this year, but unfortunately we will not do that cv stuff for travel...

@@muhammedsalman4021 Hello Muhammed. It's not so easy to find a job because the work here is in general very limited and low paid. It very much depends on which island you live on though. Bigger islands have more possibilities than the smaller ones. The best chances in my opinion for foreigners like us is working in tourism where our language is needed but we are not necessarily taking jobs away from local people. Best wishes to you!

Living in the mountains is fantastic but not in winter. It is so cold. We had a snowstorm strike and it was brutal. Two feet of snow and it was hard because the door to our house is completely covered. We could not go out the front door. Helga loves the snow. She rolls in it and gets soaked. She is a clown. We have our morning laugh with her around. Once the snow was cleared I set up my easel and painted a winter painting with a mighty mountain covered in snow. It was very popular. I hope all is well for you. Life here is just fine. If it makes you happy then you are doing the right thing.

Rahel, thank you for this beautiful video which has a somewhat different emphasis than most of the others. Especially letting the beauty speak for itself :-) I've been to Sao Miguel twice and to Terceira too, but I am somewhat longing to go to Pico. And indeed I have an eye on some property on Pico for some time now. If you don't mind, show us more please, as I don't know when this stupid situation will finally allow me to have a good long look for myself. Keep it up !

Lived in Cabo do Praia, Terceira for just over 2 years. Climbed the highest peak on Terceira and took in the spectacular view of Pico's snow capped peak. Hiked many remote areas, explored several caves, and inhaled the sulphuric air in Furnas. Enjoyed the sandy beach at Praia and the stony beach at Biscoitos. Many of these adventures were undertaken with my 2 year old son strapped to my back. Lol Thank you for sharing this beautiful film that brought me back to simpler times. ❤️

Low paying jobs unless you are rich or have money from others sources then you're ok otherwise just a dream

That's true, here there are mainly low paid jobs, but also the living expenses are lower compared to other places.
