Welcome to the start of our season at Lake Clark Resort!
___________________________________________________
Hi, my name is Salina and I live in a village in remote Alaska that shares my families last name. My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. My family owns and operates a summer resort right on the families homestead....your Alaskan vacation by Alaskans.

I am so sorry for the loss of your family member. Stay strong.❤ 🙏 60s would feel really good right now. It's reaching 100 degrees today in my neck ofthewoods. Wish I could afford to be a snow bird. Alaska is on my bucket list! Absolutely beautiful.

Salina you should be so proud of your family and your business. I want to come visit and meet all you precious people just from watching your KZfaq videos. You should know I lived in the PNW / Seattle area for 47 years and raised our two sons there. We camped, hiked and fished in the summers. I will always carry the PNW in my heart! We live in AZ now and really enjoy the winters being able to be outside so much. I love Alaska, my husband worked there (when we lived in Seattle)and I’ve spent some time there been from Ketchikan to Denali. Alaska is amazing, beauty every where you look.❤️ Sending my prayers for your family, peace and comfort in your G Grandfather’s passing.🙏🏼

Hi. We've been the same here in Ohio. In the 90s for a week or more. Had enough of the heat. So that 60 degrees sure sounds nice! 🙂. Hope it cools down for you soon also. Have a nice weekend. 🙂. KimInOhio.

Hi Salina, thanks for the clips from the flight over the park, and the tour of your gardens! Things grow so quickly up there with the near constant daylight, it's amazing. I had to laugh a bit at what is warm temps where you are vs where I am, here in coastal South Carolina. 😄🌞 It really does make a huge difference with what you're used to depending on where you live! You're looking more settled this vlog, which I'm happy to see, and I hope you are feeling more at peace after all the upheaval of the past month. Hugs to all of you - looking forward to your next episode and seeing your smile. 😊 Take care!

I'm so glad you do the videos! I am a National Park enthusiast and have been to 19 parks, I will hit Denali and Kenai Fjords in about 3 weeks! I found your channel while doing my research. While I'm not going to Lake Clark on this trip, when I do come back, your videos have made the cost easier to swallow because I know if I stay at your lodge I'm supporting a family, and I will make it a point to get coffee every single day, and hopefully some of your baked goods. I had no idea that your family basically runs Lake Clark, LOL! Keep sharing, I'm so glad I found your channel!

First, Im sorry for your loss of your Grandfather... Im in Delaware State & it was soooo hot the past weeks..in the upper 90s! W a heat index of 104°F ...my daughter & Grandson who is 6 btw said it was 70's and that would have been lovely! My oldest daughter & SIL moved from Kalispell, MT to Cedar Rapids, Iowa & made a ton of $ selling their house..transfered their jobs etc. They've said the worst was the heat bc they're not use to it!!😂😂😂 I would love your weather right about now!
