I've been here for nine years, and I have to say it really helps to have a lot of money for housing and restaurants (not a great selection of those).

We do have fire and paramedics on the island as well as an urgent care clinic. Thanks for watching!

@@bainbridgeislandrealestate Thanks for answering my question. If someone needs to be transported to a major hospital however, are they looking at a ferry ride on the ambulance to a hospital in Seattle? There’s only so much paramedics or an urgent care can do.

@@arkadventure2 Then your options are REALLY bad. I lived on Bainbridge for over 14 years, my daughter lives in Bremerton. Our family needed ER health care many times. The ER in Silverdale is abysmal; I cannot stress this enough. Bremerton is barely any better. Your best bet is to go to Seattle (I used to go to Virginia Mason). But if you go by car, you could be looking at a long wait for the ferry, depending on time of day/night. Particularly on holidays. They will NOT give you priority boarding without a note from your doctor! Ambulances DO get priority boarding, but I was on an ambulance on Easter Sunday, there was a 3 ferry wait, and they did NOT take me on the first ferry. Finding specialists on the Kitsap side can be hard too. Oh, and you can get medivac insurance just in case you or your family ever need to be helicoptered over to Seattle. I kid you not. This was one of the main reasons we left. I hope you see this response.

Thank you. The people I met where the most unwelcoming, entitled people I ever came across. White people bragging about "saving" nativeland by buying it up, yet not returning it to the native people. Beautiful land inhabited by the grossest people.

Did you just make a video because you had a cell phone and you were bored? Anyhow, Looks like Boring Island, USA. Gee whiz, I am going there just to get pizza, see some boats, get wet and get some ice cream! What a fun time! Where else can you get pizza and ice cream? No where!
