The Jeep Wagoneer L is an absolutely massive SUV, bringing one of the largest interior passenger and cargo volumes to the market. The big news for the new model year is the introduction of a brand new 3.0L Twin Turbo Inline 6, an engine that will soon be replacing the legacy naturally aspirated Hemi V8s. We have spent time with the ultra-luxurious Grand Wagoneer, but this time we were experiencing the more mainstream Wagoneer in long wheelbase form. It still packs a ton of features like adjustable height air suspension, surround view cameras, adjustable drive modes and more. I was really interested to see how this inline 6 felt and performed. Also, watch me struggle to park and maneuver this enormous SUV in a downtown parking structure. Many reviewers comment on the rear of this monster being boxy. It is for a few reasons. 1) This is a WAGONEER!!! Take a look at the original Wagoneer and you will see that this is part of the tradition. 2) It gives more volume or storage. Yeah, everyone loves the romminess, but you have to get it on the interior from the exterior!!! Ford and GM may look better to you, but they lack in space inside.

I recently drove a rental 2023 Wagoneer L Series II with the SO Hurricane for three weeks and loved it. Unfortunately, I'm a poor bastard. If not, it might be on the shortlist to replace my rusting out 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Man you get around. Arizona, Florida, New York. Enjoy your time and be safe. I rather have a Tahoe. The side profile of this Jeep is just not attractive. The designer really missed the mark on the bigger Jeeps.
