In this compelling episode of GaonaLive Conversations, we sit down with Bonolo Bosah Selaledi, a courageous woman living with HIV who shares her powerful story of resilience and truth. Born with the disease, Bonolo's understanding of HIV was shaped not by her parents but through her own discoveries at school. Her journey took a tumultuous turn when she was told by a pastor that she was cured and no longer needed medication, only to fall ill later and find out in the hospital that she was still HIV positive.
Bonolo opens up about the emotional and physical challenges she faced growing up, including dealing with a physically and emotionally abusive stepfather. Despite these hardships, she has emerged with incredible strength and a determination to share her story, dispel myths, and offer hope to others living with HIV.
Join us as Bonolo candidly discusses her life experiences, the impact of misinformation, and the importance of proper medical treatment and emotional support. Her story is one of courage, resilience, and the power of facing the truth. This episode is not just an account of living with HIV but a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity and find strength in vulnerability.
