I follow the Wahls Protocol level one, but I can't eat as many fruits and veggies as Dr. Wahls recommends. I didn't think it was helping, but when I went off of it over the holidays and ate gluten, the numbness in my feet started going up my legs to my hips. I've learned I can tolerate a little bit of gluten until the numbness increases. It takes a few days to go back to my normal level. I also take Vitamin D, Co Q 10, fish oil and a B complex.

Wow, it's amazing that food makes that much of a significant difference! And I'm sure the vitamins and supplements are helping! Thanks for letting me know!

10K Vit D daily, don't "feel" a difference but hope it is helpful. Low cost for potential benefit. I also chose low carb, no sugar and that makes me feel 100% better. Keto or Paleo lifestyle is my way I feed my machine. :-)

The only supplement I’ve ever noticed a difference with is CoQ 10-400 mg a day. It increased my energy drastically

Good to see you Lauren. You're sounding positive as ever. No special diet, definitely no supplements of anything. I get plenty of sunshine, a bit of exercise and always plan to do more. I just keep doing what I always have. Hiking, camping, touring. Have a great day - every day.

Yes, yes, yes. I have eaten a diet similar to the MS Swank diet for over 10 years. Low saturated and trans fats, no red meat. It helped me stay in remission, drug free, for years. I did just start Mavenclad for my MS, but I still eat very much like this diet. I take 4000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily, along with Calcium and Magnesium.

Hi Lauren, you are looking amazing and your speech sounds great too! So I also take 5,000 IU of vitamin D and a multi vitamin every day, I also take a cranberry supplement. I have had my 2 rounds of Lemtrada, so now I only take my daily vitamins/supplements plus a bladder medication, anti depressant and anti seizure meds! As for diet, I was on a gluten/dairy/sugar free diet for a little over a year, it made no difference at all to my MS I was just horribly miserable! Lol! By the way your pup is beautiful! Hi Trixie 😘 Take care of you my friend xxx

Hey Mel!! So great to hear from you!! Thank you so much for saying that about me!! A cranberry supplement sounds interesting! I'm on Ocrevus. Did you only start taking bladder medication, anti depressant and anti seizure meds after you started Lemtrada? Mel, I won't even try a gluten/dairy/sugar free diet...just the thought of it makes me feel miserable! I can limit myself, but I definitely can't rule out the things I love! Thank you for saying that about Trixie! Love you! XOXO :)

Hi Lauren. I'm with you, I notice no difference at all. Tried a men's one-a-day multi vitamin for a while, but stopped it. IMO waste of money. Fixed income, that was a simple item to cut off my grocery list.

Hi Lauren, been living with MS for around 20 years. Been through vitamins, probiotics, diets, natural foods etc. I see only advantage was eating healthy to keep the weight off my legs, maintain a certain weight. One thing I felt the best on was the Keto diet. The researchers believe that the ketogenic diet appears to have the potential to treat the neurodegenerative component of MS. I eat like a pig, lose weight and symptoms are not nearly as bad. I go on and off it, usually in about 4 month intervals. Just a thought if you want to try something different. Can find a bunch of information on the internet.

Hi Lauren, I don't follow a strict diet either and take the same amount of vitamin D3 as you. I started it years ago when blood work showed a level of only 8! Now I am in normal range. I don't feel any difference and have no idea if it is the reason my bones are good? I took a really bad hard fall last year on to a hard surface. I was on the ground and hurting in shock because it happened so fast and nothing to stop it. Hit my head and whole right side. Took stock before I got up since I was alone and was able to move everything, that's how she scared I was. I didn't even really bruise, just sore for days. I don't take calcium or eat much in the way of of it. Either I just have good bones or the D3 helps. I'm rambling sorry. Take care Andrea!! Love your puppy ❤️

Hey Andrea!! I'm so glad your Vitamin D levels are good now! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you fell...that's always scary. I can't even imagine how scared you must have been. I bet you have good bones and the Vitamin D helps!! Thanks for saying that about Trixie! She is a sweetheart! It's great to hear from you! Wishing you the best!!

Hi Lauren, great idea for a video. I take vitamin D, coenzyme Q10 mainly for MS. I take other supplements mainly to help with inflammation as I have rheumatoid arthritis too. I can't say necessarily that I notice a difference when I don't take them because I take them more as a precaution and so I always try and take them. I like to believe that they are helping in some way. I also eat a good diet with lean protein, fish, healthy fats like nuts, lots of vegetables and fruit and dairy. I do feel best when I'm eating well as it helps mentally the most for me, and less sluggish. Hope you have a great day! xx

Hallo Lauren, I do not follow a diet. I also eat what I want, but try to eat as healthy as possible. I tried to eat dairy free but I hd so many problems with digestion that I returned to my normal way of eating. I supply with 5kvitamind3, K2, I inject 1 ml of vitamin B12 once a month. Well, I do think it helps with my MS, I don't feel a difference, but my neurologist said I should try. That's what I do. What helps me most is hydryting myself with heaps of water. If I don't drink enough I feel crappy! Thanks for sharing your experiences, Lauren! Hope you are doing fine!

Hey Britta! I agree...I eat what I want but try to stay healthy. I feel the same about vitamins - I don't feel a difference but my doctors say that it's good for me. I am the exact same with water! I drink so much of it, and when I don't have it I'm miserable! I wish you the best with everything!!

I love Trixie.. So cute! I take vitamin D 50,000 IU once a week. I was taking small dose daily but Neuro said it wasn't helping and switched me to this. I try to eat healthy but lately I haven't been following it. I am hoping to get back on the program soon.

There are videos on diabetic foot exercises you can do while watching tv. Help with blood flow to lower limbs and cramp prevention. I don't have diabetes but I do them anyway. No more cramps.
