You did well. As a nurse, I worked oncology for 8 yrs and also had uterine cancer when I was 59 yrs old. I was a lot luckier so to speak than you. Surgery was easy as they used robotics, almost no pain. No spread, 3 radiotherapy treatment and follow ups. I have been cancer free for 11 yrs. So far so good. Your situation was much worse and you were so young. Wishing you the very best in everything. Your work with the various organizations is very generous of you. Keep up the good work. And, one last thing, you are so very right in that the mental health of people who had or have cancer is most important. Actually, everyone's mental health is important.

It seems to have a lot to do with what end of the Pancreas the cancer starts. My Sister lived with no treatment for 5 years and she was not too bad for most of those 5 years.

@@oldonetwoablewhat do you mean at what end the cancer starts on the pancreas, I guess it’s either the head or the tail of the pancreas. But what difference does it make?

Young people , especially women, are now the largest and fastest growing group for pancreatic cancer- used to be elderly, and mostly male - now, we see it more and younger - my father passed w it, and my best friend she was just 40 and healthy before she was diagnosed weeks prior to passing

It’s our diet. So much chemicals in the foods and high fructose corn syrup. High insulin puts a strain on the pancreas & liver. Very scary but people need to watch their diet

For all those who are so shocked the girl had pancreatic cancer and she's still alive and well. She did not. Most people when they say pancreatic cancer, they mean pancreatic adenocarcinoma, a very deadly cancer with absolutely dismal prognosis. As she states in another video she had solid pseudopapillary tumor, a completely different disease with very good prognosis. Stop confusing people, the only thing in common between these 2 diseases is that they both start in pancreas but apart from that they have nothing in common. Her tumor was over 10 cm in size and no metastases, this would never be possible with adenocarcinoma, you would be long dead by the time tumor reached that size

@@almcdonald8676 pancreas is divided into head, body and tail...the adenocarcionoma affect the head most and is more than 90% of the cases are extremelly deadly, 95% of mortality in a 2 years window after prognosis.
@marzenapancutt8102
@marzenapancutt8102 7 ай бұрын
@@almcdonald8676 Not sure but it makes no difference. With adenocarcinoma, because of its invasiveness anything above 3 cm is usually unresectable regardless of the location. And once it's uresectable, it's a certain death sentence sooner or later (usually within a year with treatment). Even for those that caught it early and had surgery, prognosis is poor with only 15% surviving more than 5 years. The tumor this lady had is borderline malignant (so not a typical cancer as such) and does not invade blood vessels and nearby organs so it is possible to resect it even when it's that big
