Weekly videos should be constant again now! Also something important I forgot to mention in this video, let me know your thoughts below on a replacement for this as a new Summer daily driver? I need some suggestions! Should be fun, RWD and at least "slightly" practical ;-)

Bit of a controversial one but maybe a convertible like a Z4 Roadster M40i or Boxter GTS 4.0? If you want a 4-seater, maybe that M2 Competition that you've loved might just be the one.

i have a a7 55tfsi right now and am going to order a rsq3 sportback next year :) ! cant wait for my 5 pot audi (long time dream of mine since the rs2 came out with the 5 pot).

@@JAILFOOD honestly its better overall than my previous car (2015 audi rs7) because the performance is so much more useable and that v6T is for me the perfect sweet spot, the fuel economy is amazing and i just LOVE the cabin!. I had a audi rs4 2018 for a couple of months but i far prefer my 2020 A7 55tfsi due to the ride and cabin + in the real world the performance is just as useable.

the most impressive thing about this car is that it does the same 100-200 as the audi sq8 TFSI (which is a ttv8 with 510hp!)

@@carswithluke This engine belongs is so many more cars! If the size and shape were more appropriate It would have been incredible in the 718 cayman/boxster. Too tall though.

You did right. If you would have started spewing out a bunch of little 1,000 view videos the algorithm wouldn’t have even bothered recommending this one to us. People don’t mind giving up a video a week, if we can wait for 1 quality video a month. makes the experience more exciting actually. 👍

Same problems with my t-roc Rline and after the stage 1 engine and gearbox everything is working perfectly

Everybody with DQ500 gearbox should take contact with TVSengineering dealer - their dsg software is noticeable smoother, responsive to paddles, stable on right gear and also does not hold the revs under 2000revs so therefor you become also smaller turbo lag. Of course theres no need to map the ECU, you can stay on stock performance, but the DSG tune is from my experience totally MUST have

OMG my mum's Skoda Yeti from ten years back had exactly the same problems with horrendous turbo lag and the gearbox 'fighting' you and constantly gear-hunting. If this RS Q3 were mine I'd be looking into an ECU flash with ABT or someone to see if there's a solution to these irritating issues? I mean this is pretty much near enough in the same class/price range as a Macan...! Oh, and my recommendation for a daily summer driver? A Range Rover Evoque convertible :P

I love the look and sound of this car. Was hoping to change my SQ5 for one of these. However, one of the downsides of the SQ5 is the lag. So really disappointed to hear the same thing from different reviews regarding the lag and gearbox on the RSQ3.

@@srdiaries3981 Thank you! :) Well, I simply love it! It doesnt feel heavy and bulky, but quick and agile. The grunt form the 6 cyclinder is also really appealing for me. It is not like a Boxster/Cayman like some journalists like to say, but put in sport+ and you will have fun. It is also very comfortable to travel long distances in and I am quite happy withe the fuel consumption as well. The size is also perfect, because I do drive it into the city now and then. A very good compromise of sport and practicality, which is just right for me as a daily :) I whole heartedly recommend the Macan! ;)

Wonder if a gearbox remap would eliminate all of the issues with this car. Being its the same as the rs3/ttrs. Loads of data collected by them cars in the tuning world

With the automatic being so nervous, a bordcomputer option (to leave the gear choice up to the driver) and/or software update would be nice. A manual transmission would be nice as well.

It's the camera that makes that happen, I film on a low f-stop which makes lights flicker

This just popped up in my recommended, had to watch it for the 2nd time (Audi 5 pot just sounds too good). Did you ever get the back aches you were talking about back in your A1?

Thanks and no not in this, really like the seats in this, the A1 had older and different seats.

@@carswithluke Fair enough, I've got a 6C Polo GTI which would probably have the same seats as your A1 had. Being a tall and thin guy, the seating position feels a bit strange.

Never heard my buddy with his 2016 rs3 complain about turbo lag or slow shifts. Also why does Audi still show the remaning distance you can drive per 10km and not every km like in any other car? Also the car with the opf seems ALOT quieter than without opf
