Living Big In A Tiny House

Living Big In A Tiny House

Күн бұрын

This weeks episode takes us to beautiful Spain to visit an amazing tiny home and gardens that has been set up as a wonderful sanctuary space.
Anne, while born in Canada has returned to her family land in Spain to build her dream life. Here she has created spectacular gardens and a retreat where people can come to recuperate.
Sitting amongst the beautiful landscaped gardens sits a small DIY-built tiny house which has been designed to be accessible to all with the purpose of fostering creativity and relaxation.
We hope you enjoy the tour of this beautiful tiny house. To find out more about Anne's journey, you can follow her on Facebook: / fincadacondesa

I'm a disabled person w quite a lot of equipment needed. The way Anne set up this tiny, I can see it work for many people w disabilities. This is the very first tiny house I've seen, that even I could stay in. I'd need to swap the bed for a hospital bed, remove the couch and I could be in there with my powerchair an patient hoist. One of the chairs would probably become a stand for my ventilator and then I'm good. And I would br perfectly happy spending all day in bed in front of that gorgeous window!

I truly love this place, which combines my two loves in life--a minimal space with only essentials and a gorgeous expansive garden. As I near 80, I could live in this place. I would add only two things--a tiny wood stove for heating and a quality portable oven to replace the microwave. Brilliant idea not to take space for a sink in the bathroom.

I must have watched thousands of these tiny home builds & I truly enjoy each & every one. But may I say, I believe she's the only person who thought about disabled people in wheelchairs. I'm not in a wheelchair, but at 59 yrs old & 2 back surgeries, I am disabled. As much as I've always wanted a tiny home I really didn't think I could have one because of all sorts of different reasons. Thank you so much, Anne, for showing me that it may still be possible for me to have a little space of my own. Thank you again. Much love & respect from East Texas.

This tiny home is very simple and minimal but not at all lacking in anything necessary. The potential for using the space in different ways and to meet the needs of people with disabilities is amazing! Lack of accessibility is one of the biggest drawbacks to tiny homes, I think. I love that Anne very intentionally considered these issues when planning her home. I also love that the wood used was grown right on her family's land, both a special connection to her grandfather as well as boss level use of local materials. :)

What a beautiful soul. I started off here thinking that it was a budget restrained tiny house that was not complete. How wrong I was. The therapeutic atmosphere sucked me in as I watched and I became convinced of the success of this project. The consideration for the healing affect for others and love of nature is an example to us all. Probably one of the most selfless examples I’ve seen on this channel

Absolutely. Far too many poor people showcasing their tiny homes. What this movement needs is more rich people, to show the plebs what true success is. Truly, it will heal us all, to see those with swimming pools and multiple homes, as they exemplify a love of nature. So selfless!

I relate to th this video more than I can put into words!!. It speaks to me on so many levels as an artist, as somebody who values the Greenbelt, who is very sentimental about family and preserving their land get they’ve passed on… My grandparents and great grandparents brought orchard seedlings from England and brought them to the Midwest USA where are they thrive to this day; after getting cancer at the peak of my life when I was changing careers and I had graduated for the third time I was very shocked To of my diagnosis two weeks later and fill the last 11 years it has been a battle post chemo trauma and heart disease, denying me in my dreams and almost ability to travel/walk. I would so very much love to Be in a place of solace Such as yours and I truly love the name “spiral” that you have given to your tiny house❣️❣️ It has so much meaning beyond just the name and as I listened over and over to your video, it spoke more than once to me your purposes in starting and building a tiny house but also the gardens and everything do you have going on in your land. I Truly envy the structure of your days and your peace of mind… I can’t stress enough to people the importance of rest throughout the day weather it is in the form of a nap, or yoga or meditation (in whatever form that takes for you personally), Or reading a book for a half an hour, or is this lovely woman did play your drums… For me it would be my lap Dulcimer💕❣️ For a long time it took me months to teach my brain the freedom of guilt for rest because I think many women are taught that we are not entitled to rest and so every time I was stopped because my body was screaming for that rest I would feel guilty… Plus I would tend to sit down somewhere in my living area where I could see work that needed to be done. But I quickly began to learn as I attended cancer classes and wellness classes, that guilt is not a healthy mindset, and also, when you realize it’s very necessary to rest in a place where somewhere where your mind is also able to rest not just your eyes… Any of that means do you literally shut all the lights off and close the door and the curtains, then so be it; some people are able to just go outdoors and sit in a comfy or Lie in a Hammock (my favorite), etc, in order to get the rest you need mid morning or mid afternoon but not just at the end of the day!! For me it is usually name because the sounds of the birds and the tree movement and the insects doing their daily chores and the warmth of the sun on my body all together to become so relaxed to be Relax. I “k"now no longer have to make a big deal about it I can pretty much shut down, lay down anywhere &fall asleep almost as I have finally excepted the fact that it’s important to let your body rest. You have really worked very hard to make this land extremely beautiful and so gorgeous even from a distance. It is to be admired the hard work you’ve put in and I truly wish that I could come and see it. I thank you for doing this video! I think you for your views that you have shared with us because they were so valuable! And I have taken Many thoughts from this video that I will reflect on in the future over and over. I wish you the best on your ventures into the future and I think it’s admirable what you were doing for autism as I have a grandson with autism and it is a disease that very few people are willing to give time to! God bless you and again thank you for this amazing video❣️❣️❣️♥️
