Hey guys! Come along with us on our WORKATION to Southport, NC!! We worked a few days (on the balcony!), enjoyed walking to our lunches and dinners and we really needed this change of scenery during COVID (June 2020). We’ll show you our reaction to the place where we stayed, what we did and what we ate too! Travel vlog style...but without much talking - mostly music. We stayed at a condo we found on VRBO, shopped & ate nearby (all walking distance), and checked out our fave beach Oak Island - where we got married in 2009. By the end we hope if feels like you were right there along with us!
🏠 Port Richmond is where we stayed the first time we ever went to OKI. But it’s no longer available for rent which makes us very sad! We loved that place. We loved it so much that since we couldn’t rent it for our wedding, we made sure we got married on the beach NEAR it!

🎥 On our 2013 vacation, we went around to all the spots from the movie Safe Haven - we were really into it, or should I say I was really into it :). We already loved Southport so it was just neat that a movie was filmed there and movie stars had been there! That was also the week we had the best boogie boarding!

💻 My MacBook is fine - we put it in a bag with a bunch of rice, but later discovered on youtube that it may not really work. If it ever happens to you, look it up on youtube but here are the main things: turn off right away and dry it best you can without shaking it around too much. WAIT several days & PRAY and get your friends to pray too! Prayers work ya’ll.
