all he has done is put an engine and added wheel arches, in the 70s we de seem them and lower the front end of the roof, this is also illegal as he turbo acting as bumper ?? its not a road car no way

@@topbanana4013 umm did you watch the start of the video he mentions outside of the remap/tune and the paint he did everything from modifying the entire body all around including things like the front turbo both intercoolers all the struts support extra work brembo's new rims tires and a heavy race clutch with and pretty sure he also said a limited slip dif and a sequential shifter i think and a rap sheet for engine parts longer then a infamous serial killers victim list and thats just the stuff off the top of my head

oh and lets not forget the spoiler insane cutting work entire interior redo entire back section which would take its own listing dedication at least 10 huge engine mods and counting all the fab work for said motor setup and mods and im sure many tuned changes to help with braking balance and weight distribution and he said theres still more to be done

only thing is, the ride is poorly setup...it needs some Ohlins springs/suspension on it and a proper wheel alignment, you can see the steering was not straight. Great engine and stuff but poor ride quality to utilise all the power...better off just building a EK9 Type-R with turbo...

Nice work! We used to have a ball in Minis back in the day. Extremely direct in both handling & response to input, and most of the feel for the car came through your bum & your ears. A good Mini in the right hands has the scariest passenger seat I've ever found! Thanks for re-kindling some eye-popping memories!

That wouldn't be too hard tho. What they were doing in the earlier episodes before they got help from legit shops and mechanics were pretty janky and questionable. Especially a lot of the wire work, yikes

Not in respect to driveability . I think it's got to much power, and the subframe that Mighty Mods used was a much better set up than trying to mod up the standard mini subframe to hold 300 + horsepower. There's a limit to power and handling, and without proper chasis consideration this guy is just going to crash, meanwhile the Mighty Mods mini could probably reach 200 hp quite easily just naturally aspired, have a better weight distribution, and hold corners much better than this. This young man has done a great job, and it looks cool, but he can't plant that power reliably to the ground, and he looks concerned driving it.

I had a 1992 J reg Mini 1.3. Most fun in a car that I've owned. Simple, nippy and handled well (ish). This is a weapon. Love it.

BLKMediaTV - UK Yea its such an epic build. With AWD & 500bhp+ next year it will be crazy but the 2JZ race Mini he’s going to build...no words. Most people saying 2JZ Mini I’d laugh at. This is one hard car to drive you can tell the guys had practice with it tho. I had a mini as a first car and any long journey was tough cant imagine trying to hoof this down the road with 6 times the power . Top job
