Metalgen is really something unique. List of materials it works with is iron, glass, gold, silver, uranium, plasma, bluespace (fancy glass effect), meat and someone told that hot ice works too. I didn't test hot ice, but plasma is.. plasma. Everything explodes, releases plasma gas and set things on fire. Recipe can be found at "paper asteroid" in space.
Smoke only affects things that is on the tile, so for plasma walls/airlocks you need to splash it with beaker.
After some testing turned out metalgen transforms literally everything. Everyhing. Got SM delamination? Just some plasma metalgen smoke and SM gone! Nar'Sie became Plasma Nar'Sie and died in closest plasmafire. And something else I don't want to be fixed rn.

you know what's better then plasma in this case, its the green glow fog. which is much much harder to undo, just try to reduce the engineering suits around, that or also turn those into uranium suits. a engineering suit only works to protect you from outside radiation sources, the suit is not able to stop it own radiation source if it gets internalized.

i when you said "dangerous materials" i first thought of uranium, radiation is one of the hardest things to get rid of since the station only has avarage 2 showers in medbay and about 4 in engineering

showers are made easily with iron sheets, and while they dont got continuous water if not piped up, they do regenerate its own internal water slowly overtime, so make a ton of em and just keep rotating between em

@@dr.cheeze5382 no you couldnt, metalgen can only convert things that are coded to be capable of being different materials, engi suits like all hardsuits have no coding to be other materials, they are what they are: iron and glass. showers can be turned into uranium tho i think, but im not entirely sure on that

Showers dont cure rads, anti toxin/rad meds do, showers just stop you taking burn damage while irradiated and for cleaning irradiated items.

Hahaha, I remember using infinifoam back in the day, when you could spread chemicals around with the foaming agent in such a way that it spread infinitely in two stages. So one april fools' day, when the server was set to ministation despite a population of 50+, I was a chemist. And a traitor. I made a two-staged foam- one stage thermite, second stage napalm. The server (and station) was such a lagging, melting mess that the admins couldn't reset the server for hours.

Considering, if I am not mistaken, that the in-lore purpose of the Space Station 13 was, at least at some point, something to do with plasma - either researching it or acquiring it(?) for Nanotrasen, this would tick that box to the letter... That's employee of the year material right there... if he wasn't a syndicate operative.

The lore purpose is indeed for plasma mining on lavaland/ice box. Atleast thats what shows up for the bioweapon syndicate people when that ghostrole appears

its actually a terrible way, as the floor tiles being plasma meant the fires burned holes basically instantly which removed the atmosphere, and without oxygen the fire couldnt burn more, the best plasmafires are done with a low temp plasma mix so that it doesnt actually burn holes in the station

I always wondered if you could put poison into the station's air supply in atmos. Like what if you made everyone inhale Amanitin for example. Or pumping uranium imprinted metalgen through the station vents. This is a pretty close estimate I guess.
