The verses are similar to the japanese version, with each of them getting sick or looking out for the sick. Its sort of implied the hilichurls are related, but it doesnt explicitly say so, which is interesting to note.

As for the Chinese song, it's actually a rewritten horror folk song call "the ten rabbits" In Hu Tao's version. Replacing rabbits with hillichurl. "Big Hillichurl became sick, 2nd Hillichurl tends to him, 3rd Hillichurl gathers the medicinal, 4th hillichurl cooks the medicine, 5th Hillichurl suddenly dies, 6th Hillichurl carries him" The meaning behind the the song, which goes as far as 7th rabbit dug the grave, 8th rabbit buries the 5th, 9th rabbit cries in front of the grave, the 10th rabbit ask why, the 9th rabbit says 5th rabbit left and never return. The meaning behind the song was never made clear, but most suspect that the 5th organs was used as medicine to save the big rabbit. Big rabbit = King, 2nd = Doctor, 3rd/4th are assistant to the doctor, 5th is unsuspecting sacrifice, 6/7/8 are funeral rabbits, 9th is the lover/family of the 5th, 10th is the one who wrote the song.

the designer for xingqiu and chongyun said that they are both designed to be counterparts in clothing, visions, talents etc. they even told a story about how chongyun and xingqiu have matching tassels on their visions because they gifted one another those tassels. after a long day of chongyun training xingqiu gifted him the handmade tassel as a symbol of their friendship and love for one another. chongyun basically burst into tears at receiving the gift and soon after a few days later chongyun gifted xingqiu a matching tassel for his vision as well. they have such respect and loyalty for one another and clearly care about each other a lot. so in conclusion, yes they are gay.

Chongyun's voice lines is probably the most passive aggressive ever especially since he has excessive yang energy lol. But I think he also doesn't hold a grudge or hate her to the point of blacklisting her from the friendship list, but just hates it when she teases him. If she doesn't he's probably cool. Also I need that FNF mod to be a thing haha

I feel like they could've done something like a rewritten version of "Ring-a-round the rosie" for the english version of the sing since that is a short verse about the black death. It could've just been something like "Ring-a-round the hilichurls A sky full of missiles Ashes, Ashes We all fall down"

Xinyan fits the friend group way more than Hu Tao does. almost all of Liyue characters aren't fond of Hu Tao. I see her as that weird kid by herself who tries to make friends with her weird antics, like how she does with Xiangling. on the other hand, Xinyan is friends with Xiangling and Chongyun (not sure with Xingqiu but i think he's the friend who brought Chongyun to her concert). Even in that Moonlight Merriment scene, you can see Hu Tao alone on the rooftop, looking at everyone.

Basically what your trying to say that these characters have a great dynamic and it needs to be shown more

I think the 4* in her banner is basicly the best supports for her.. chongyun gives consistant cryo for melt, xingqiu gives her a lil bit of sustain and for vaporize, while xiangling c6 gives a boost of pyro dmg bonus while pyronado is active

Hu tao's chinese song is saying something like this: Eldest hilichurl is sick, Second hilichurl looks after him; Third hilichurl grabs the medicine, Forth hilichurl boils it; Fifth hilichurl is dead, Sixth hilichurl lifts him~ -- I think all the hilichurls are related, with the numbers implying to be the order of their births (like how siblings are addressed, ie. second sister is 二姐 (er jie) and third sister is 三姐 (san jie)) Feel free to correct me if im wrong!
